I came here to see if I could find the truth. Did this incident really happen, or is it a hoax? Has anyone at this newspaper checked this story? I say this because yesterday I heard this story being repeated on the radio hour-after hour here in San Diego. Then, later in the day, another talk show host said that it was three miles, that there were repeated trips, that the boy had to carry a weight (23 pounds?), and that at least one trip was at 3 O'clock in the morning. Oh, and one report said that the boy was nine, while another said that he was thirteen. What's the truth. Did this really happen,. or was it perhaps a hoax?

No answer, so it looks like it might be true. My next question would then be, what are the rules about recalling judges in Hawaii. If ever a judge needed recalling, this one certainly does. I'd like to include a horse whipping along with it, but that's too much to hope for. How about tarring and feathering? Something along those lines is required.
