Segars-Andrews supporters have been knowingly calling and/or emailing members of the Judicial Merit Selection Commission in an attempt to pressure said members to change their votes in favor of Family Court Judge Segars-Andrews. The Code of Laws of SC 1976, as amended, are clear as to this type of conduct.
The conduct is criminal and the penalty for violating this state law is up to $1,000 in fines and 90 days in jail. Failure of the Commission to release it's emails and phone call records constitutes further violations of state law.
The Segars-Andrews matter is headed for criminal charges being brought against her supporters and herself. These people think they are above the law and can do what ever they will.
*Writ of Mandamus is possible to force criminal charges*
Time to request HALT and Judicial Watch to step in :-)
