Big business (including the entertainment industry) already gets way too many breaks. I say good riddance to them. Generally they bring their own people in anyway so it's not like it is creating that many jobs, right?

What the heck is SC doing? We have a Lifetime orginal series being filmed right here in one of our state's finest locations: Charleston, SC

Mr. Sanford better get it together. Have you guys watched this special on lifetime (Sundays: 10:00 pm)? It's pretty neeto

By the way... what does "cut the wage rebate for out-of-state residents" actually mean?

It means that people who are already bringing in a lot of money and don't need the stinking money in the first place get huge tax rebates and the like currently and with this they will not get such a huge rebate (but still more than anyone from SC would get)

How the hell can you tell the Gov. to get it together when you don't even know what the subject is about? LOL!

I really don't care where they film it as long as it stays on the air. I love that show and I really did not think I would.

I truly enjoy watching "Amy Wives" on Sunday nights. I've watched it from the beginning.

It is like a breath of fresh air.

The show being shot in Charleston SC is helping our economy and bring in revenue. Why take this away from our state! Work something out Mark S.!

Don't take Army Wives away from Me!!!!!

it would be a shame for the show to leave Charleston but if the do have to leave then I strongly hope that they find a new location and keep the show on the air. This is a wonderful show and what they did for a group of wives that their husbands are deployed was just amazing. This show is quickly becomming a hit and if they have to leave SC probably wont' get any other hit shows wanting to film here for quite a long time.

Many of the cast and crew are LOCAL South Carolinians who depend on the production of Army Wives for their livelihood. There are so many pieces in the puzzle to make this fantastic show--equipment and lighting companies, hair/makeup/wardrobe, craft service... It would be a loss for our community if these filming incentives are not renewed. Contact your local senator/representative about supporting SC Film Incentives!

This is so sad. I love this show and like it just as it is. I can't wait to see it every Sunday night at 10:00.

My husband retired from the Air Force in 1999 but oooooh how I remember him being gone all the time. Durning Desert Storm our two children never got to see their dad.

I can relate to what this show is bring to it's audience.

I got a small gig as an extra which the state got to tax. Friends of mine work as crew. Caterers make quite a lot off of the show, feeding the cast and crew every day. SC needs the industry. The people need jobs. Although they do bring some people from out of state, the majority are Carolinians. If we screw this up we'll be hard pressed to replace it. Don't tether yourselves down with resentment for the people who do well. I didn't get rich off of it, but I did gain experience and spent the money I earned in a local store.

That is stupid, the governor needs to concentrate on getting gangs out of schools and taxes. If its going to bring money to the economy, why complain? First, the Carolina Panthers, now this. WHat's next? A ban on the View taping?

South Carolina is missing out on great opportunities for recognition of the state with all the law makers restrictions and rules. I see why no one wants to visit and let alone live in South Carolina anymore.
