Illegal immigrant cana t get financial aid for schooling at Trident Technical College

An illegal immigrant who applied to Trident Technical College this week will not be eligible for state or federal financial aid, according to school officials.

Good, that slot and those monies need to go to legal residents. What good would it do for an illegal alien to get the education anyways since the illegal alien would not be legally allowed to work in this country.

Obama gave him 2 years of eligiblity for work through DACA green cards. After that? The funny part about DACA, is what employer would hire them if they are only legal to work for 2 years!!! Oh, yeah, they are expecting an Obama miracle!

I was thinking the same thing,what employer would hire someone who only will work for 2 years, waste the companies time,energy and money to train,,, when they could easily hire someone (with the proper credentials)who will stay for a longer term(many years) and contribute steadily to the success of that company.

Every resident child here does get a public education per law, even illegal aliens. If you are referring to university education then you pay for that yourself or make good grades and get scholarships or qualify for loans.

Illegal alien children here should be affored the education they get in their home country, in Mexihole it is up to the 6th grade. Just far enough to read basic road signs and instructions. The road signs here read go back home and the instructions are follow the yellow line back over the border, you do not get to collect $200.00 when you pass go either.

The ingrates can go to school in mexico, the only difference is that they don't give free breakfast/lunch/snack. This has been very difficult for students and familes to adjust to...ha ha!

Here in CA if they get free meals at school, the parents qualify for a 20% discount on their home gas bill.
