Having just read this article I am clear on a few more issues. Sametta Heyward was, like millions of working single mothers in both the USA and Canada, so caught up in the battle of daily survival that her actions, while not in the least justified, are a slight bit more relateable. A persons stress level can only get so high before something gives. Sametta did not set out to kill her children. In fact, given that she had surrendered her last child to a (hopefully) better life and was desperately trying to support
two, indicates to me that Sametta simply reached her breaking point...logic was no longer part of her thinking pattern, fear and anxiety had taken over. I am sure she has replayed that day a million times and that those tiny, trusting faces
haunt both her sleeping and waking hours.

Thanks for posting the article but couldnt it have been posted onto one of the others.

I guess this might only irk me. Lie for example of the firefighters you post to one and you have to check out twenty others to find one thay you replied to. If they were kept on one posting of the same type you could read them all on one./

Sorry Doug, I am new to these sites and apparently posted in an unappropriate place. My apologies, Lani

Sorry not trying to be a cyber bully. I guess it's just one of my irks and I have mentioned it.

Just don't see why we have to have ten postings on the same subject. If they were pertained to more of one singular posting you could visualize the replies under one heading vise checking out ten separate postings.

I just wish this lady had someone offer to help her. Its too late for her, however if anyone ever knows of somone who needs child care, I hope you send them to
http://www.ra2.biz/babysitters.html

We are Grandparents, and we only
charge $4 per hr, but if you need a babysitter and do not have the money,
we will watch your children and you can pay when you get the chance.

No Parent should ever have to feel they have no options
