Move to whereever the most customers are.
Check the crime logs for coacaine and crack distribution. Then, relocate there.

Well they located in Newport News route 17 just up from Jefferson Ave, they are packed with customers, very tough to get in. Good for them, good for Newport News. Hampton seems to be on a self destruct mode or someone keeps pushing the button over and over, i.e. drive out local, privately owned shops and stores, replace with sudo plastic overpriced faux upscale franchises. Creating a publicly funded Town Center is a good example, yes Hampton tax payer, around 92 million in taxes taken from this places goes to pay off city issued bonds, issued via of a "paper" entity" on the city's behalf. That shopper's fee of 0.05 percent is use to help with the bonds. Like stores which basically get to enjoy the city owned and keep up parks, streets, parking deck, sidewalks, drive away customers from other stores located alone standard streets or strip malls. The Mongolian place across the street from the $$$ PTC comes to mind. It changed hands then close. The Mongolian place in the PTC seemed to help with that closing, it too, then went out of business. Hampton had an old established well liked restaurant with prices inline with the area that payed full taxes, unlike the PTC where up to 50 percent of the taxes collected goes to those 30 year bonds, yes 30 years! If you age 30 years old, live in Hampton, those bonds will be payed off when you are 60. All that tax money bypassing the general tax fund, money that has to be add up somewhere. Now PetSmart is moving into the upscale PTC? The PTC is going to morph into nothing more then a strip mall to fill that empty retail space. What a win-win. So good for Harpoon Larry's. Let the riffraff enjoy the armpit that is Hampton, let the Upscale ,"I pay $1,800 plus to live over a mall, I love the vibe" enjoy the PTC $8.00 plus beer,$13.00 for two pieces of cod and small handful of fries, or their greasy, fatty, 3,500 calories franchised hamburgers.

Hampton thinks it a "destination", cough, it is not, it is the sweaty, hairy arm pit of the peninsula. So yes local businesses, as Hampton works on that "Master Plan" to rid everything and rebuild to plastic, Google "Hampton Va Master Plan, move to Newport News where you will be appreciated and welcomed with open arms.
