What on earth is going on with NNPD?!
If this kind of crap keeps happening there will only be a handful of officers left to try and keep Newport News safe. Incrediable!

Even more officers won't keep NN safe...to much youth and gang violence.
On this cop...police are people and some of them will break the law, just hopefully not as many as people in the general poplutation.

Perhaps some of these rogue officers need a community center to keep them out of trouble while off duty.(sarcasm)

These officers are no better or worse than the general population, so why should we be surprised when they run afoul of the law?

nope your so right because he gave everyone a bad name this is why people don.t trust the police at all all it takes is just one person to ruin the department as a whole

Oh my Goodness. I pray for each and every officer on the NNPD. I know many of them and they're good men and women. It is true that it is a stressful job, but come on, There are so many avenues that each officer is afforded in order to maintain good mental health. These men and women see so much, most of you wouldn't even imagine it, but there are all kinds of therapists that they can talk to at any time. God keep them safe, and hopefully get the help they need. My thoughts and prayers for all the NNPD officers.

I think the NNPD at least deserves some credit for having the guts to arrest their own.

All professions have their screwballs. Now is the time to stand behind our police community and let the good officers know how much we appreicate and support them!

Wow! I talked to a friend tonight who told me that she was in City Center and an SUV kept trying to get near her. It was U-turning a few times and getting into parking lots. She ran like the wind to get to her place. She truly thinks that whoever was in that vehicle was going to try and do her harm. From what all she said, it sounds exactly like that was what was going to happen.

That isn't his actual address, just the block range. Besides, if anyone wanted to know his exact address, it's easy to find on the internet without the Daily Press's help.

Whoops! I take that back. You're right. In the actual story it just refers to the block. Still, it's easy info to find if you look in the right places.
