Sometimes when a perpetrator is running from the police, the sagging pants will fall to the perp's ankles, and it looks like a shoestring tackle.
What Fun!!
I, for one, want to see more saggin'!

Mary Swanson wrote: Ok, so for all you single moms out there that read this should come to understand that if their sons wear there pants like this they are conforming to the gang lifestyle. Trouble is in the making. Moms don't let your kids dress this way. I saw what looked to be a 9 year old kid walking down the street with his but hanging out. What a shame. Perhaps in a few years his mom will be looking down at him as he lies on a slab at the morgue. She should not be surprised. You're overreacting. A lot of gang members listen to rap music, too, but that doesn't mean that every kid who listens to rap music is going to end up in a gang and getting shot to death. Most kids who wear the droopy pants don't want to be gangsters. They want to look cool, and the droopy pants look is supposed to make them look cool. They are fashion conformists who imitate MTV, not gangster wannabes. I agree that it looks stupid, but just because a kid wears saggy pants, that doesn't mean he wants to be a gangster and it doesn't mean he's sending a message that he's available for gay sex.

When I look back to my high school days- we wore some stupid "fashion-less statments" too. the peanut pants with a zipper bout a quarter of an inch, bell bottoms that were 3 or more inches too long and they had to drag the ground and be all raggedy looking. At first I thought this would pass quickly.. but it is hanging around way too long. It just looks sloppy and ignorant. Specially when ya see em trying to carry something and hold their pants up with one hand. Its a trend that i hope will be gone soon.

Well, now that you mention it, I've never seen someone with saggin' pants and Birkenstocks.

Just picture that dresscode coming in for a job interview. "I can only work with one hand...the other is holding up my pants"
Big difference between looking "Cool" and looking "Stupid"

When I began to recognize this fashion statement, I immediately saw a marketing opportunity. My plan was to develop a line of trousers which had the exposed underwear sewn to the belt line of the trousers. In that way, the correct "COOL" amount of underwear exposure could be maintained without using a hand to hold up the trousers. That would free the hand for more important uses, e.g. gun, cell phone, crack pipe. Sadly, I was unable to obtain financing from the bank to get the business started. The same bank also refused me financing for an earlier project. I was going to develop a line of ladies wigs with pink curlers already installed. I thought that it would be popular with ladies who needed to run to the 7-11, but didn't have the time to put their hair up in pink curlers. Just put on my wig with curlers, and off you go. And then there was the idea for a line of designer shower caps, also for the woman who was in a hurry to get to the Food Stamp Office or the free clinic, but could not find a decent shower cap to wear. I had planned to open a chain of urban stores, but couldn't decide which of two names to use: "We Be Shower Caps" or "Shower Caps Is Us".

Mary Swanson wrote: Can someone please explain why some boys wear their pants low below their bottom? Is there a message in this way of dress. It looks pretty awful. If you think its so horrible, don't dress like that, and dont let your kids, and dont complain. Let the human race dress how they want, I'm sure people say something about your clothing too!

Yea, nothing like falling in line like a little sheep to express ones "individuality". I have a feeling NN Thug is being sarcastic, but I had to point it out anyway. I really don't care what excuse anyone gives. The second your seen with your pants hung low, your looked at in a different way. Just for wearing them that way, you lose IQ points with most people, and looked as an idiot. The same goes for white boys who wear their hat sideways. You look like a complete dumb-shit with that look. I lose total respect for white kids, and adults who dress in such a manor. I hate to say it, as I don't consider myself to be a racist person, but I hate white kids who try to emulate the thug lifestyle(aka wiggers). They make a mockery of the culture their phony wanna-be asses try to copy, and come across as complete, and total, morons. It's even worse when these twits carry this fasion into their 20s and 30s.
