Can someone please explain why some boys wear their pants low below their bottom? Is there a message in this way of dress. It looks pretty awful.

Personally, I think it's because they've had their ***** kicked so much they don't have enough left for the pants to fit on. But on the reverse, it's much the same way where women with ultra-saggy, extremely wrinkled breasts still insist on wearing low cut blouses. Neither styles really make sense but all we can do is chuckle and look the other way.

I understand it's the 'prison theme'. That the inmates wear them like this and the popular 'hip hop', thug look makes it popular. Heck, haven't most of the hip hop, rap thugs been in jail?

As I heard it explained on a CNN interview, its a gang type mentality. It originated as a prison thing. Since prisoners are not issued belts, their pants tend to be baggy and falling off. So it would appear that todays youth think its cool to immulated prison culture. Go figure. Not sure if this is exactly true, but thats what I heard on TV.

"Prison theme" is correct! My cousin, who spent much time in a federal prison for drug dealing, told me that this was the way that one inmate would let others know he was "available" for homosexual sex.

Ok, so for all you single moms out there that read this should come to understand that if their sons wear there pants like this they are conforming to the gang lifestyle. Trouble is in the making. Moms don't let your kids dress this way. I saw what looked to be a 9 year old kid walking down the street with his but hanging out. What a shame. Perhaps in a few years his mom will be looking down at him as he lies on a slab at the morgue. She should not be surprised. America is loosing its kids and we are doing nothing about it. The gang mentality is here and we need to put a stop to it. I believe it is a mental disorder and should be treated as such. Round them up and put them in a mental hospital.

Mothers against gang pants/butts. I'm serious. I thought it was just a 'kid' thing. Not many people realize that it represents the best of our PRISON population! No wonder these gangs are succeeding in getting kids killed everyday.

Dont know why they do it, but I especially like the double pair of boxers that go along with it. Comes in handy having a spare pair when you soil yourself I suppose.

Yea the second set will come in handy when they try and rob someone and come to find out the victim is armed with a 45 or a 9mm and they crap themselves.

In jail it is well known that a man sagging his pants is saying that he swings that way and is a bottom. If you're unsure of what I mean then just think of a major flamer and how he would let others know.

It's a fashion statement. That statement is " I am 16 years old and I can't dress my self" "Or tie my shoes"
