They shot up one of our Navy vessels back in 1967, claiming it was an "accident". But the USS Liberty's large flag was in full view and the letters "GTR" on the side of the hull are of the Latin alphabet, not be confused with the Arabic. Crewmen in the water were machinegunned while helpless.

It's obvious they intended to sink the ship, kill all survivors and blame it on Egypt who they were at war with.

They continue to drag out the peace process, holding on to land they stole and infuriating the Arab World in general. And that makes enemies for the U.S.

In a word, the Israelis are treacherous ingrates, not "dependable" allies.

Let me give you an example of Israeli "dependability".

On 9-11, five Israelis set up video cameras in Liberty State Park, New Jersey, and filmed the attack on the Twin Towers as it began, according to residents who observed them.

The five Israelis were later arrested by the FBI.

Two were later identified as MOSSAD agents.

So these five knew the attack was coming as evidenced by their setting up cameras to record it, and two were Israeli spies.

So how come they didn't pass on the information to us?

That's dependable?
