everyone's had a speeding ticket before. Why is this a big deal. I find it funnier that he hired a lawyer to defend him for a simple speeding ticket. The same lawyer that tried to get an ex cop out of a DUI.

(You're right, doesn't make sense to hire a "BIG GUN" to represent you for a ticket that you could get away with by saying you're sorry and throw yourself on the mercy of the court, hell "Stelin' Sally Andrews" could have gotten him off)

It appears that he paid court costs and the disposition of the courts decision posponed for a year. This amounts to "propation" and the court dropping the matter if he keeps out of future conflict..........no big deal, been there, done that (thanks Pat), buttttttttttt? I don't know how to interprut the reference to VASAP. Does this mean he was under the influence?
Just, curious. Richmond took the fun out of DUI, not educators?(and please have a modicum or humor, I'm in no way serious.)

not everyone. Also, he is the Superintendent of HCS and needs to set an example to kids in drivers education. He is a Public Official and is not above the Law. He was arrested for going over 35% of the speed limit. The Court records put it in 'inactive file'so no one could see it on record. It was a recent arrest and citizens are on 'active file' several years, to be seen on record. His was tmoved to 'inactive' only in a few months from 8/08. I find the Court Clerk doing this a 'big deal.' Also, I almost believe it was done knowingly. You can't pull the wool over Slick 50. I have access to every court file in the US, from Civil to parking tickets to death row.

When you put that way its impossible to find argument with your point....good post. You'll probably have to explain it to "ReallY" again though.

I think they need to fingerprint Russo again and get a State and FBI check before hiring. They may want to reconsider and hire a black woman from Norfolk.
He is dangering peoples lives on the road. I bet he passes school buses.

it's Public Record. I can also get the background on any school official, post it legally. FBI checks will take a little longer. If it's a guilty, it counts. All the others, I do not even consider nor should HR such as: not guilty, nolle,dismissed...only Convictions count. All Rise

the 56.00 was the court cost, but where is the 5.00 per mile fine? 12 x 5 = 60.00
That's 60 more dollars or 56.00 + 60.00...was there something left out of the GDC Record?

The Court records indicate 2 disturbing things. 1.) There was 'no' fine listed. 2. When posted here about the status, it was quickly moved back to 'Active' status where it should have been to start. Someone at 236 King St is playing around to cover imo. Remember his original speeding conviction was pushed to 'inactive' files in order, imo, to hide from the public. Once brought to our attention here at the 'HR Topix School of Exposeure', it's been moved back to Active. Something is going on behind closed doors and I plan to get to the bottom of this.
PS--you won't believe who is going to be exposed next, and the convictions.
