Enroll them today so a teacher can teach them how to spell Colorado.

I live in Newport News and teach in the Hampton City Schools. My students scored an 87% pass-rate on the state exams in my subject matter, which is par for the course. I would suggest you examine the school report card and conduct an analysis.

Ms. Garland, the City of Hampton has very poor schools and many unqualified teachers. The worst private school can top the best HCS school, Spratley Gifted with ease.

My 0.02 worth, shop around or home school. L.A.F.B. can get you in touch with home school moms. NASA has a lot to offer on educational trips as well. Good luck. SJ

Dittos. YC Schools are also down for the struggle. York high is about to fall apart and Tabb has to charge for parking and have booster clubs to support the crappy sports programs.
Government Schools are bascially all the same everywhere.ie same curriculum dumbbed down.

I always pick up my son at a local Elem School. I never, on any circumstances, let him ride the bully black bus. Just too many black bigots in public schools and on the buses.
