It has finally sunk in that schools do not have a bottomless well of money. This has been going on for years and the quality of education going down. Any extra curricular activities should be paid for by the parents. They eagerly pay for outside of school soccor, baseball, etc. If you can gift Ipods, blackberries, etc. ect. to your children then you should be able to pay for certain parts of your childs school career. Public schools are in existence to educate and not provide entertainment to a certain few students at the expense of other students.
