Priests, Ministers, Rabbi's, Elders... they are all just men. Some good and some bad. Just because they wear the cloth of Religious service does not mean that under their uniform is a more perfect human being than the rest of us.

Always question Authority no matter what your Political or Religious default position might be.

I had attended this raffle for five years and have cancelled checks of all proceeds I paid for the raffle. I hope that I might be able to recover my money paid for this benefit.

For daily vetted coverage, globally, of the ongoing sexual abuse criminal cover ups, of the Curia and NCCB, cost laity many BILLIONS of DOLLARS,and still very much ongign, with no measures of correction occurring above the rank of common priest, as well as weekly reported MAJOR embezzlements within many Dioceses and parishes, by ordained, religious, and laity, we recommend:

Another munipulating priest, go figure. These people are the sickest to me. They know many put their trust in them and then right away take it for granted. An enima needs to be given to the catholic church to get all the sh** out and believe me there is alot. I'm not trying to offend anyone here who may be catholic, but I'm sorry this religion has more deceptiveness and lies then any other. I'm so sick of hearing all of these stories about preists.

Clergy on the take..... is this something new? The clergy from the start of organized religon had the benefit of an education and has always pulled the wool over the (uneducated)common mans eyes. They made up the rules to suit the sitution. Take not eating meat on friday and just like that we can now eat meat on friday. Where did the money my ex-wife paid to have our marriage annuled go? I'm sure the church itself didn't see any of that. My marriage never happpened, I guess that means i have no children. The church doesnt get why members are falling to the wayside. It good to see some of these holyier than thow men of the cloth get their dues.

People look at me weird when they ask me what church do I go to and I tell them none...I believe in God and pray every day but I will not go to church to be preached at by someone who does worse things than I do!

We are no one to judge, let in God hand that he will take care of it. God will clean his house and he already started. I believe in justice and i know that God will call his people very soon. Done look at man. Keep you eyes in the Lord that he will take care of those who do the right things.

Lizzy, You haven't quite reached the point in your posts that they become completely incoherent but your on the border. Don't stop taking your English classes.
About religion Lizzy, anyone that says God bless the Jewish people will receive more blessings from God than the Jewish people he said that to.
Shalom Lizzy.

Sorry but this religion is the most reported. I remember just in one little town, there where controversy's over stealing, spousal abuse and other problems within churches around the town and nothing was every written about that. But if it is a catholic church it makes the papers immediately.

And it is true unfortunately there are horrible people in this world and believe me a child molester and other criminals know where to go to get the trust of parents as well as children. Look at all the reports of boy scout leaders who did this also. It is a shame and a scary thing.

The proceeds from the raffles were used to subsidize the grammar school attached to the parish church. There is no evidence that he used any of the monies for personal gain. Regardless, the end doesn't justify the means, and the way the situation was handled was not legal. This is a sad case of good intentions gone awry.

I'm not sure that that addresses the embezzlement charge.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
