We had to put up with bullying in public schools and public housing. Authorities did everything they could to maximize violence everywhere that they could. Any kid with enough self respect to so much as put his hands up to block the punches was suspended and treated like a criminal.

Why do we keep turning our kids over to the political establishment everyday thinking that we might get a different result? Why would we think that they would care more about your kid's safety than you do?

Education is too important to just abrogate to someone else. In my opinion, mass compulsory government schooling needs to stop. We need to homeschool or privately school these kids.

Or more precisely, there are a lof of folks in the Seabrook schools right now who care, but it has not always been so, and isn't the case in all of the schools. School choice would mean that you could move your kid to a safer school just as soon as you began to feel that your child was in any danger.

A girl commented suicide because of what happened in the school. Kids are being bullied and harassed to the point where some won't go to school. It's our job as Americans to do something about this.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Gemini

Try as you might, you won't be able to convince a certain person to see things from your point of view. This character is far too busy letting you know that they're an individual in their own right and they won't be tied down by you. The more you push, the more they'll rebel, so try not to incite further displays of outrageousness.
