last night I guess a seabrook policeman was in a high speed chase from seabrook to n.hampton which ended with the person he was chasing being killed!!!! Leon Ellis dead at 45! Why do these cops pursue at such high speeds, end result man dead.

Why don't the drivers stop? Is a better question.

everyone doesn't think of the right thing to do at the time they are probably afraid of jail, but the cops should think before as well! They are trained you'd think they could do something different to get who they want instead of going a gazillion miles an hour resulting in people being killed! Road spikes, call ahead etc.

These cops think they are above the law. They would feel differently about it if it were one of their family being chased!

Why dont the cops use better judgement on chasing people. Especially when they know who it is they are chasing and where they live. Think about it!

Unless he was wanted for murder..!! There's no need to participate as officers of the law, in these high speed chases. The cops know that he wasn't a professional driver on a race track, so why chase him from seabrook to n.hampton at speeds that I don't know. The other cop just got found guilty of breaking the law for going over a 100 in a chase, deemed by the D.M.V

seabrook pd as all cops ,will lie, cheat on their wives and drain every last dime from the town they work in --never trust a cop as they will cheat you out of everthing if given a chance --these cops should at least be suspended for sometime that would cost them in the wallet

The driver was pulled over for a traffic violation. He chose to take off. Before the officer could even get back into his vehicle, after being dragged, the driver was down the street and around the corner at a high speed. The driver, chose to accelerate. The crash was less that a mile from the original spot. At a speed of over 100mph, on dangerous curvy roads, the results are as expected. This has nothing to do with the police and a pursuit. This has to do with the fact that the driver had a choice. Unfortunately he made a poor decision costing him his life, and devastating family and friends. May he rest in peace, may his children be consoled and may his passenger survive. Life is too short.

The cops didn't kill anyone. The driver killed himself by fleeing and hitting a tree after he dragged a cop. Let's all pray that his passenger doesn't die. Since it was in Hampton Falls they had Advanced Life Support on scene and her chances may be better than with just a regular ambulance crew on scene.

I hear it started much earlier in the day than that. Leon made a choice to run, and police are making choices to pursuit. The officer already had him stopped, he knew who it was. Spare us the drama of the officer getting dragged, he held on, another bad choice. He was okay to pursuit but than suddenly he needs the wah-mbulance. You don't have any problem pointing the finger at a Seabrooker and calling him a murder without proof so tell us the truth which one of you cowboys is the murderer.

Lets apply your philosphy to said chase above "Officer Broke Laws During Pursuit; Speeds Exceeded 100 mph". The girls in the above story never ran into anyone, the officer did. Should he not be held responsible? Or does it take two?
