Is it me or are most of the kids in Hampton and Seabrook up to no good (drugs, stealing, lying, etc)? Is it just this area or has all of America's youth taken a turn for the worse?

I guess you can't expect better considering what they have as role models; Little Wayne, Lindsay Lohan, etc......

Old Timer, you can't point a finger at how these kids are raised because I know for a fact that some of these kids have outstanding parents and have done nothing but good for there children and there community. You also can't point a finger at just Hampton and Seabrook because it is everywhere even in your back yard. You want to point a finger, then start pointing it at the Doctor's that are handing out these drugs like it's candy, especially these so called methadone clinic's, instead of weaning them off of the methadone they just keep upping there dosage and send them on there way just to get the old mighty dollar!!!!

That's right! Drugs are everywhere, not just here hello! Do you watch the show addicted or the other one intervention? It tells the story of kids who are addicted as well as people and none of them are from this area! So drugs are everywhere you must know that. It's the whole map of America who have drug problems as well as every other country. A world of drugs.

I moved my kids out.. I live about 20 min away and there is not a heck of alot going on here... Im sure there is as there is everywhere but certainly is no where near as bad as in the brook.. Im proud to be a bubba and always will be but I know it does not always matter how good of a parent you are, its the people or things your child surrouds themselves with.. Unfortunatly, being a great parent is not always enough and it was getting real bad in Seabrook when we decided to move..I have noticed that several folks who are addicts are really trying very hard to clean up.. Its unfortunate because at one point they were all innocent and it only takes 1 try to become and addict..They will forever suffer with that addiction..

Whoa! I wasn't pointing any fingers at anyone's parenting. Yes, I know that drugs are a problem all over the country, I was just wondering if all other similarly sized communities elsewhere have similarly sized issues. Of course in LA, Detroit and all other bigs cities its a major problem. I was just wondering about other areas of the country.

It just seems like a much bigger problem now than when I was growing up.
