Why isn't the school shutting down for a couple weeks to protect our kids from this flu? I haven't heard any proventive methods in trying to avoid this thing. The shot has good and very bad side affects. The only thing I got home from school is a paper telling signs and symptoms and to keep my kid home if there sick. Do they not know that if someone is affected with H1N1 that they have it days before they show any symptoms and by that time they can already pass it on, I feel like taking them out of school for awhile, but with state law I can get introuble. I have seen other sights on here which are very disturbing, I hope we can stop all the negative bull sh** and pull our town back together and help each other do something about this. This is more serious then everyone thinks.

So say what you will, I am only trying to get the people who care to post on here. Oh ya look at the map of the area where it is and then come on here and tell me its not here. So please go back to the other forums where u can get what your looking for.

Sorry if you haven't been informed. And another thing I didn't say anyone in Seabrook school had it, I am concerned in what thay are going to do to prevent it.

I am sorry if my post offends anybody, thats not what I am trying to do. This is something I personnaly am worried about not for myself but for my kid and the other kids in town. And I have researched the vaccine, and I am not to crazy about vaccinating my kid with it, and if your a parent read the risks involved with vaccinating your children. Actually I think who ever is being negative about this whole outbreak needs to research the H1N1flu and not listen to it on the news. You will be surprised at what you will learn.

Kids need to learn to keep their hands clean, cough or sneeze into their elbow or shoulder.

The can contact it at school, the movies, the grocery store, the mall....you name it.

Yes, it is scary, but you cant put the kids in a bubble. You can keep them home from school, but are you not going to let them out of the house? Are you never going to leave the house to make sure you dont carry it back home?

Keep your hands washed. Hand santizer helps also.

There is not much more that can be done about it.

The statistics say that the virus is mostly spread in school environments, 25% of the population affected by this virus are kids between the age 6-18.school age. Thats the highest percent out of the population. It seems to me and many other parents that they should shut the school down for ten days or so to give it a deep clean and sanitize it. No you can't keep your kids fully protected against this virus but you can take every precaution their is out there to try and save peoples life especially our children. People on this post are not getting it, people are actually dieing with this virus. And if not letting my kid go to the movies or in a grocery store for a little bit is going to save her from getting this your damn strait I will do it.

IT IS IN THE SEABROOK SCHOOL ALREADY CHECK ATTENDANCE RECORDS. THE SCHOOL IS TELLING THE SICK CHILDRENS PARENTS TO STAY HUSH HUSH. THE REST OF THE FAMILY IS PRESCRIBED MEDICATION TO PREVENT IT AND TOLD BY DOCTORS TO STAY HOME (TO NOT SPREAD IT). WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE OUR CHILDREN TO THIS FLU. TAKE NOTICE IT IS IN THE SEABROOK SCHOOL NOW! THE SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND CLEANED WITH BLEACH, YES BLEACH, NOT ECO FRIENDLY CLEANER.

Why haven't we been informed about H1N1 in the school yet? I think someone on the school board or maybe the superintendant should be notified. Who has the authority in this situation? I'm guessing the school nurse has taken it upon herself to "downplay" the situation as usual. Anyone else notice that she never takes anything seriously?
