For the record, one of the alleged 3 HSC students was not involved but was charged after a key witness lied in court

As for the arson, I am a student at Hampden-Sydney and I am good friends with Chris Schram. He is a good person and has gone through alot because a "friend" won't step up and testify that Schram did not actually start the fire. Why, might you ask, do I believe my friend Chris over the newspapers? Because Hampden-Sydney has a honor code thats why... The majority of us stick by it too.

Eye: "majority of us stick by it too" is not enough to use the honor code as a reason for believing your friend Chris.

to be absolutely sure your friend is innocent based upon your honor code, EVERYONE must stick by it.

your friend is probably lying to you.

For the record, a key witness finally did agree to testify and all charges were dropped against Chris.
