Cell phone etiquette

Oh, whatever did we do without cell phones?? Use to be (and I'm not that old) that if you had to use the phone, you went to the payphone or to the concierge (sic) desk at the restaurant. We've become a fat, happy and very rude society indeed.

Ch22: You get more ridiculous with every story! This is one of the most absurd storys I ever read here. Yes it's rude to use cell phones in restaurants, and downright dangerous to do so while driving, but this is just people being rude. It should be illegal to talk while driving, but our idiot legislators ignore our wishes and block these laws. But you are trying to say we should regulate cell phones that hurt no one? If a restaurant finds it offensive it is up to THEM to ask the patron not to do it, and nobody elses business. A restaurant is a private business. I too am annoyed by cell phone useage in inappropriate places, but if we start going after people for being rude, there would be no people left in public. What's next? I see this headline coming: "Do you find that people farting in public annoy you?"
And wildflower, you are older than the mountains, and your post shows it.

I don't get your point. What does age have to do with anything? Your Rudeness is showing, better tuck it back in.
