So tragic. This is a red flag for a future serial killer.

This is so sad and tragic! I don't think it's a case of the 3 year old being a future serial killer, come on the poor little boy was left with an infant for 3 hours. The baby was probably crying. 3 year olds don't have the concept of life and death, that's why the mom is 100% responsible.

I agree no 3 year old could handle a baby crying for even one hour. There is no reason EVER to leave kids those age alone at all.

WHAT? That poor 3 year old has to live with this for the rest of his life because his mother is a loser. She should be forced to tie her tubes so she can have no more kids and that goes for all these loser girls who keep having kids when their other kids are in the care of DSS

what was this woman thinking....i have 3 year 3 month old and a nine month old and i fear them being out of my sight playing with eachother. i know my kids, and if the baby cries, my toddler sarcastically cries louder and annoys the baby. Imagine if i left them alone for three hours? that's awful, what is this world coming to? people hurting people on more like an hourly basis, pretty soon whose to say any of us are left.

I agree, I think the mother should have her tubes tied..She contributed to the death of her child, by NOT being there, they say she MIGHT be charged with neglect, she needs to be charge with NEGLIGENT HOMISIDE...SHE should never be able to get her other child back either... RIP little one...There is another angel among us..

I think he is saying the 3 yo caused the injuries while the mom if you can even call her a mom was not in the hotel room, not that the child didn't have an adult such as a parent or guardian while being questioned. This is horrid.

I'm starting to think that the conservative guy "massole" is right. I keep waiting for people to wake up but it seems we are causing more misery with our social programs. At this point I think we are making people weaker. This woman is a monster, aided by us.

even in your idyllic conservative wonderland these folks would exist.

Go look in the mirror before you start calling other people losers. There are some very good men out there and they probably avoid a person like you. lol.........

I would hope the article is reporting conclusive information. If it is, than MOM needs to be charged as a principle to Homicide. A principle to a crime does not have to be present for the crime, but, the actions of the principle had to contribute to the crime. MOM left these 2 unattended, resulting in a death. Nothing can mitigate the fact that MOM left them alone and one died. MOM is fully culpable. Find a great home for the remaining child (sad to have to do that), but, put MOM away. A children and teenagers are getting away with murder (no pun intended); because the PARENTS are not help acountable for their childrens actions. Parents need accountabilty. Not to change the subject, but the parents of the Columbine Shooters should be in jail.

DA Capeless would prosecute the 3 year old as an adult and ask for the death sentence.

What is she doing here? Let Rhode Island take care of her. Also, apparently hanging out (visiting gang bangers) down the hall. Party time? And you know what? You are paying for it one way or another.
