I heard the other day that United wrote up several of thier employees for calling in sick. I know that several employees there had h1n1 and they did miss work. I say this to united management.."We do Not want sick people handling our food. So let them stay home.

We shop at United for along time. We spend 800 a month on food. We where told yesterday that since brad was there now that they would no longer carry out grocerys for anyone anymore as soon as wal-mart super center goes up we will go there for our grocerys. And if you every bought meat there have you ever noticed the sticky stuff on the meat packages. Its getting pretty bad. As for the workers I feel sorry for them I guess since homeland took over everything has gone up in smoke to put it nicely

I went in there today and the manager and several assistant managers were standing around in the isles griping. That older lady "betty" was correcting one of the other managers grammar and you could tell he was not happy. That woman gets on my nerves. She talks to the kids that work there like they are dirt. Very condescending. I would not let my kid work there. I am very very excited about the supercenter. I am going to shop for groceries in Sayre from now on. I think they have better customer service and they don't require the employees to come to work with h1n1/

There is a girl that works there named Karissa. She lets her mom come thru the line and basically get her groceries at a "reduced" rate. She was fired from Homeland for doing that.

Unless you are there you don't know all the facts. If you don't know the facts you should keep your opinions to your self.

I was there and I do know the facts, and even if I didn't this is a public forum where people are welcome to state thier opinions. I will never shop there again. They treat those kids like crap. I have seen one of the managers "Betty" talk down to those kids like they are stupid almost every time that I have been in there when she is working. They have lost alot of help and I understand why. The CDC is telling Americans to stay home if they are sick. I know there are several kids that work there that have tested positive for H1N1 and they went to work anyway because they were afraid that they would lose thier jobs. I think this is neglegant on United's part. You should not request that your sick employees come to work and infect thier customers. If you choose to support United that is fine with me. But I refuse to do so.

Whatever... Just because you hear rumors about that crap doesn't mean it is true. Some of the kids will tell you anything to get out of work. I think United is a great store. And even thought they have had alot of changes some of them have made them better. I support United and I will always shop there. They are still a Great store.

I refuse to argue with idiots, they aren't smart enough to realize when they have lost the argument. I believe it is your OPINION that United is a great store. Didn't you just say for people to keep thier opinions to themselves?? I suspect you work there and I suspect I know who you are, which makes me suspect that you are indeed an idiot

I went shopping at United tonight. They carried out my groceries as normal and they were fairly busy.

they always offer to carry mine out still, but if they are busy, i feel bad for other ppl in line behind me that have to wait for the checker to come back after carrying out groceries, so i usually decline their offer. i think its rediculous that the checkers should have to carry the groceries out!! i think we pay enough money for the groceries that they should still employ baggers!

Its not rediculous that they have to carry out. No one in the store is exempt from carrying out. It is a job that everyone shares. The problem is that they are short handed, so they cant always do it.

You know in bigger cities and military bases most people tip the worker who helps carry out the groceries. Might not be a bad idea here.
