How many people would be willing to help make out WV Parenting Plan equal for all?
With the exception to parents not fit for the title of parent.

Reading between the lines, I presume you mean legislation to require both parents have equal rights in parenting a child in the matter of divorce?

If that is what you mean, it would be a huge step forward in the security (mental) of children of divorce.

I can imagine the wall of feminist special interest would march on the State House if such legislation were to be introduced and the brave souls (yeah) that represent us would run like scared wildlife.

The current system administered under the slogan "best interest of the child" is a joke and, in effect, means mommy always wins.

It would take some brave souls to make it happen, but society in general would be in a better place were it to happen.

wrong mommies do not always win. My ex has had custody of our children for the past 5 years granted by a out of state judge. I have been fighting for 5 years for joint custody in lincoln county and I have lost less rights than when I started. Just for the record no I am not a alcoholic or druggie.

The point is that Mommies win about 99 percent of the time unless they don't want to be the custodial parent. As a male I was awarded custody of one of three of my children. While I maintained custody through adulthood of that child, the mother played the system costing thousands of dollars in legal fees. The point the individual was making was a system that cuts the crap. The presumption is 50/50 unless one party waives it and the other party agrees with that waiver. If properly implemented it would force the mainstream of divorcing parents to act like adults. Admittedly, there will the substance abuse crowd where the rules would be different.

Children suffer because the system promotes parental fighting. It really should be about the children. Right now it is about gender bashing by the women's lobby.

This has no chance of happening. Sadly.

Join WV Fathers in our quest (along with several other group) to change the way the system works today.
We can definitely can use more people who are interested in making a change.
Our group is not about mother or father. Out group is about noncustodial parents having equal rights as custodial parents.
Right now in the family court system, the scales of justice are most definitely tipped in the mother and custodial patents best interest. Not the child(ren).
So let win the fight for our children's equal parent time rights.
How much do you love the children?
