See anything that is like the democratic party in any of this?

Christianity is an important part of the KKKK’s ideas and beliefs. In fact, one of the things that the KKKK claims is that the United States was formed as not only a White Nation, but as a Christian nation. They quote James Madison saying this about the founding of the United States on their web page ("The program"):

We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity
of mankind for self-government upon the capacity of each and all of us to
govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the

Ten Commandments of God.

Therefore, the KKKK’s views on abortion and homosexuality reflect those of the Bible. They are against abortion and believe it should be illegal unless the mother’s life is endangered or the woman was raped or a victim of incest. And since the United States is a "Christian nation" and the Bible is against homosexuality, there should be a national law against it. They also believe church and state should no longer be separated, making prayer in public schools legal. Because the KKKK is so heavily involved in Christianity, they often light a large wooden cross on fire at their rallies. They say that they are not desecrating the cross but rather they are illuminating it and the "truth and the light" of Christianity ("Intro to the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan").

So yeah, the democrats started the KKK, but they grew up and moved on. Republicans, however, have adopted 100% of their philosophy.

Any other dumb questions?

All those words made me poop my pants...again. Sundog says a lot of words and every time he does, I poop myself. Now I'm cranky again.

Sometimes I wear a wig and look even dumber.

Any of that sound like modern day democrats to you?
True. I don't take up for the belief system of any of those groups, but they have the right to exist. Just don't think the should exist under the banner of the KKK because of the carnage and damage done by the brand. If ant-war protesters are allowed to exists, so should any group. Some of the anti-Vietnam War protesters that actually killed people in the 70s have never been arrested. I think any group that performs any kind of violent protest or violent civil disobedience should be disbanded. But civil protests is any American right.

Agreed. We may not always like what they have to say, but we have to defend their right to say it.

Don't compare anti-war protesters to the KKK. That's dumber than appointing a war criminal president. And as long as those filthy pigs that killed and injured them in places like Kent State are permitted to walk the streets, there won't be any success in prosecuting the rare cases violence that did erupt among them.

There is a difference in a civil protest and a violent protest of any type. I don't care who protest and for what that right is guaranteed in our constitution. No one for any reason has the right to violently protest anything. If they want to be violent join they military and do something constructive with that pent up anger. Innocent people and property being injured, killed or destroyed doesn't do anything for any cause. It just defeats what they are doing and serves no purpose. And excuse me the KKK is no worse or better than some green peace or anti Vietnam protesters killing or injuring people. So take that comment of yours elsewhere because any kind of violent behavior should not be tolerated.

The KKK gained notoriety for hanging blacks and gay people from trees. Greenpeace and anti-war protesters are known for peacefully bringing about change. The violence among them are exceptions to the rule. For the KKK, violence is the norm. You can't compare the two. Burning a flag is a symbol of the freedom it stands for. Burning a black man is a symbol of the stupidity that ended the KKK. You'd be more accurate to compare the KKK to al Qaeda or an ignorant right-wing militia than to any domestic political activist organization.

You know I don't care what anybody is peacefully protesting. But when any human being hurts or kills another he is no better than the other same with destroying someone else's property. Murder is murder. Blowing up a building because you disagree with politics is no different than burning a house or a church because you hate blacks. This whole country has been turned upside down because of all different types of extremist. I cannot believe you or anyone else would take up for any violent behavior from any protestor unless you are violent yourself.

So are you actually trying to say Republicans don't protest?

What do you call these 2nd Amendment 'Rallies'.

Just by calling it a 'rally' doesn't change the fact that it is nothing more than a protest.
