He knows how to campaign but he doesn't know how to lead. Instead of trying to bring both political parties together for the good of the country, he is always criticizing republicans. And before one of our colleagues on the left start complaining about Republican obstructionism, Obama was criticizing republicans from day one of his presidency. Not quite the way to go about leading. Unless the democrats can gain control of the house next year his second term will be pretty much a waste, not unlike his first term if you think about it. His "signature achievement" is in shambles.

Taking us from complete depression to recovery is a failure?

Shooting bin Laden in the face was a failure?
Saving the US auto industry was a failure?
Creating more private sector jobs than Bush did in 8 years is a failure?
Protecting women from the ignorant fantasies of the right was a failure?
Ensuring gay people have equal rights under the law was a failure?
Ending our illegal wars was a failure?
Driving Wall Street higher than ever in history was a failure?

That's only a few.

The republicans block better jobs and raising minimum wage.
Those pesky republicans blocking that pipeline are they? I bet we could get some people working if that big ole pipeline opened

If every democrat proposal is like Obamacare, republicans are to commended for their blocking of these hairbrained schemes.

beautiful mind.....I will adress the suicides by our troops. It is two fold. One...it is a long process and taken a long time with long tours. They have restrictions with obstacles of like Vietnam of who is you ememy when there is no destintive traits on your enemy in looks or language. Second...the troops nowadays is weaker in the mind. They have been raised thinned skinned like todays people. They are not tough mentally now. They are bottle fed throughout their lives being raised on computer games. They found out bullets in the real world hurt and you can not press restart and do it all over with same sequence to start over. I know it is cruel to say but that is true. So they want to go home and can not.

(GG) ATTENTION & AMEN ♥ ♥ ♥
Dalai Lama said. "THE WORLD WILL BE SAVED BY WESTERN WOMEN".

Here they R: Hillary Clinton, Alison Grimes, Elizabeth Warren & Wendy Davis.
As women make-up 51% of the electorate; (with us "supportive men) women have the power to stop the GOP's "war on women." These women listed, all have common sense, wisdom, empathy for the poor, and can "call the GOP on the carpet!"

Democrats are quick to point out how Bush lied to the country about Iraq, however, I haven't heard too many democrats complaining about Obama's lies about Obamacare.

They wanted to hold off on the start of the Affordable Care Act. What they stated would happen to the American people has happened. I am not happy that so many are hurting but darn everyone was warned. The economy is not good and it can not support a mandated raise in wages at this time. We could use some new manufacturing jobs but with that we would need to offer some tax incentives. You see we are at a stand still because both sides are just being stubborn. You are right we are being held hostage but it is from both sides.

I'm not bragging. And I think if we work together instead of fighting each other, we can accomplish much more.
I actually think we have more on common than not. Maybe it is time to vote a woman in, a good, I don't care what party line she is from. What do you think?

so you're saying that troops shoot civilians because the normal citizens in the area look the same as the terrorists?? that i believe. but children and women are also victims, what accounts for that??

also, what do you think about obama's drone war??

and what about the brainwashing the troops go through during basic training?? i know it's supposed to toughen them up and turn them into killing machines, but idk if that's the right way to go about it...

:( it's really sad. i wish the USA military industrial complex could be stopped. too much money has been sunk into it all ready. and too many lives are being taken.

Eric Cantor has finalized the house schedule for 2014'....work 113 days, that's 2.5 days a week, that equals to $1589.32 per day.

This is something we must fix. For all the house and senate.

Melissa......You know nothing of economics. We are a nation of part time jobs. Unemployment that has been over 7% during his 5 years. Instead of working on our economy, Obama was worried about his healthcare. He should have repealed NAFTA and the Free Trade Agreement. Reformed our tarrifs to help bring industrial jobs back. Jobs mean a firm tax base to do programs. There would be less people on public assistance. So there would be more money freed up. When you send jobs away then you send money away. But this would be doing the right thing and it is not apart of his socialist program. You would need less government. Plus you would not need such a healthcare, because people are working and paying for their insurance.
