If you feel and depressed from not having a lortab or other pain killer...STOP RIGHT THERE! I want you to try an ibprofen 800mlg. You may not have to pay forty dollars for a lortab just so you can feel happy and energized. Some people abuse perscription drugs because they feel sad, depressed, lonly or sick and not because they want to get high. I dont think it the hydrcodone that stops thesee feelings of hurt. So just try and ibprofen to not be sick or tired. Dont put it in your nose just swollow it

Opiate dependance is a medical illness that is treated by Methadone and Suboxen. If Ibuprofen 800mg. worked, doctors would prescribe that instead. You do not have your facts straight, so keep your trap shut. Opiate dependence causes much more than minor aches and pains and depression: diarrhea, vomitting, cold and hot flashes, irratinal thinking, drug seeking behavior, and anxiety to name a few.

No it's true. I used to be hooked on oxy 80s. Now I take ibuprofen twice a day and I'm fine. But I do find it works better if you snort them. Big pharma doesn't want you to know this because it would put the makers of suboxone out of business.

How about u get a job and work everyday like an active member in society and maybe u wouldn't have time to do pills!! How about u feed and bathe your kids everyday and heck take urself a shower too. How about paying ur own bills instead of calling grandma or the welfare to bail u out. How about going that establishment called a grocery store and buy ur own groceries instead of the taxpayers buying them for u! How about earning what u have instead of stealing from everyone else. How about learning to tell the truth instead of lying ur whole life. How about putting on clothes everyday instead of wearing ur pajamas out in public with ur gut and butt hanging out! How about u quit mixing together that rat poison and whatever else chemicals u use for meth. How about u quit shoving needles in ur veins? How about ur children quit looking at
Mommy and daddy high?? Its all we see and it is sickening! Quit being puss and staying high just because ur not man or woman enuff to take on life!

lololol, you know what assume does yea?

i don't have kids, i shower regularly, i pay my own bills, and when i do go without drugs it's not a problem for me because i use responsibly so i don't have to steal to support my habit.

you've done nothing but prove your own ignorance, both in the words you type and your horrid spelling/grammar.

Horrid grammar?? It's called abbreviating words! Thats what we do these days. U might want to proofread yourself...lol! So, u r addicted to drugs too. U chose it. Maybe, u can stop before u spiral down to the lowest of low.
Apparently, my statement above was toward the addicts who r not functioning members of society. I truely pray for all addicts on any level! It is very disturbing to think of what the future looks like for our children. It feels like I am some sorta sci-fi movie when I look around. Scary!
Best of luck to ya!

actually, what you are doing is called "txt speak", and if you're using a keyboard, it's called laziness. There is no excuse for it when the average person can type at a rate of over 80wpm. at the very least, i speak (type for semantics's sake) in complete thoughts, and use proper paragraph breaks and punctuation.

if one does not experience withdraw symptoms, one is not addicted. i do not use often enough to get myself addicted. even if i wanted to there is no way possible that i could afford it. i do, however, have loved ones that do have addiction problems and can attest to both the hellishness and unexpectedness of addiction. as a rationally thinking, caring, and sound minded human animal i can also sympathize with the addict's plight.

there is not one addict on the face of the earth that actively made the choice to become an addict. yes, their choices lead them to addiction, which was a known risk, but ask any addict that hasn't yet realized that they are an addict if they are addicted and they'll tell you that they aren't. therein lies the danger with addiction and why these people need medical treatment, not imprisonment.

so you pray for people huh? that means your a xian, yes? i don't recall christ ever getting into a name calling argument over a sick person. as i recall the people that did that where the villians of the story, as in the story of the stoning of mary magdalene. as i recall, christ told those judging her and demanding punishment for her for being a whore that for judging her and demanding justice for the crime she had perpetrated that they where no better than she in the eyes of god. if you are actively, willfully, and knowingly abstaining from the example of your christ (which is what he instructed his followers to do) than do your prayers not fall upon deaf ears?

As a recovering addict I got cold chills reading this! I was functional and took care of my husband and children! No addict will choose to become
Some so awful! 6 yrs addiction destroyed almost everything for me and I fight everyday for my sobriety! So for Ibrouphren working for withdraws, sweetheart I took tons of it when I was a addict and any addict knows it is not very snort able! My husband laughter as hard as I did and he has never done anything at all. That is why addicts stay away from pain pills with Ibrouphen like Vicaprouphen! Can not snort without tearing up nose and throat! 40 for a Loratab! No way! Maybe Opana or oxy! R u a wanna be recovering addict cause your so self centered u want the attention that comes along with being one! Pathetic!

Hydrocodone and Ibuprophen are two completely different medicines. I just came down off tabs. It wasn't anywhere near easy. It takes a lot of will-power and determination. I had been on them for almost two years after having several surgeries. Prior to that 15 years. I know all too well the withdrawls. Oh and FYI, I work and have worked all along supporting myself and my family, so your misconceptions of an addict are horribly wrong. Most pill heads are active thriving members of society who hide it well. I would say, in my opinion, nearly 80% of all the people out there are or have been on some form of pain pills. They aren't that hard to find because of it. And another side note,$40.00 for a tab? Most I ever paid was $8.00. Addiction is not something to take lightly, or to joke about. No one, but the ones who have been through that hell, can understand. The withdrawls are like walking through the pits of hell, not being able to see the light at the other side at first. The last thing people need is criticism. Try drawing on your compassionate side for a change. Advil can help with the pain if you take 4 or 5 of them. Muscle relaxers help with the tenseness and muscle contractions of withdrawl. The leg cramps and stomach cramps just have to be dealt with. The frequent bathroom trips, pepto bismol helps. The first three days are the worst. That's when you start seeing the light at the end of that tunnel. The sneezing and runny nose, antihistimines help. For all those going through this, my thoughts are with you. It does get better. Hang in there. You will feel better soon. The pain pills actually are causing you the gut wrenching pain. Once they are out of your system, so is most of the pain. Normal aches and pains of life can be dealt with by the Advil. Good luck to all of you!

finally, somebody with a fuĀcking brain -_-

many of my friends and loved ones have been addicts and it's not a fun thing to watch, i can only imagine what they've gone through. i've lived with addicts going through withdraw and i wouldn't wish it on any enemy.

well, maybe with the exception of those that belittle and beleaguer the suffering of addicts and the addicts themselves.
