I had to laugh my azz off when I read that Sharon Kennedy, through alot of soul searching and prayer has decided to run for supreme court. First of all she has no soul and who is she trying to kidd when she says she prayed about it. If she prayed it was to the devil because she is one mean wicked evil old woman. And the only reason she knows so much about mental illness is because she has to be medicated for being a educated nutt job!!!!!!

anyone with a penis will have the book thrown at them in her court. She had my divorce case a few years ago, my wife made 25000 a year, I make 40000. I was ordered to pay 900 a month in child support and 150 in spousal support because she felt that was fair. My current wife got a divorce in front of her, with joint custody she had to pay the ex-husband 85 a month in child support, later went and got full custody, he now pays her 650 a month. He makes 22000 a yr, she makes 85000 a yr. Kennedy has been screwed over by a man big time at some point in her life and it shows.

The sad truth is she comes from a very dysfunctional alcoholic family and she chooses to take her unresolved personal anger out on others. I listened to her recent speech on her education how she worked so hard, no loans, 2 or more jobs, to get where is is today. She probably did work hard but not like she tells it. Opportunity fell in her lap. A family member worked at General Hospital when it was purchased by University so your children could go to UC for next to nothing. College was affordable then so to brag on not taking out loans is ridiculous.
She has jumped from every political party Dem, Rep now Tea Party. Makes me question if she even believes in anything.
Just the lies alone told by her and her family are...... this woman is crazy..... Live in truth....

This woman did grant a protection order against my husband after he got away with beating me for 8 years. She even ordered supervised visits for 30 minutes 1 time a week for our children. He made it to 2 visits in 7 weeks and since he brought them a game and shoes to the visit and managed to not show his true self during the visits, she decided he deserved unsupervised visits with them. Now my kids go to his house every other weekend and he drives them around in his grandma's car in the front seat without car seats. He has no license, he has been in and out of jail their entire lives, and is on felony probation for getting caught with cocaine. He's failed drug tests, been investigated for murder, convicted of multiple violent charges, but in this woman's expert opinion, he is a capable adult?! She doesn't just throw the book at men. Just as the case is in the rest of Hamilton & Butler County, it's all about who you know. My husband knows most of the police officers and judges and quite a few attorneys in this pathetic city, therefore he has full power to do whatever he wants and he always has and always will get away with it. Crooked judges, cops, politicans, and probation officers are the reason this city has gone to shit. They don't care if children get hurt or are at risk of getting hurt. Hamilton's goal seems to have become equal rights for crack heads, but that would make sense since those are the citizens that are lining their pockets with all that fine money!!

I have also practIced in front of Sharon Kennedy. She was churlish and completely inappropriate with me and my five indigent clients (I was appearing pro bono for them through the Volunteer Lawyers Project). The divorces were uncontested, she had nothing to do but swear them in and sign the Decrees I had already prepared. I concluded she was just a bit "off" and wondered what string of circumstances resulted in her being chosen to be a judge. Certainly she does not handle authority with any kind of grace.

My guess is, no one else was running for that position and the only reason she got is because Conese messed up. Plus when she was running for judge, she went door to door in her mini skirt to ask people if she could put her campaign sign in their yard. Then she would bend way over when hammering her sign in the yards lol. Her old azz cant do that now. When she was a cop her boyfrind got into trouble. He was drunk and hit several cars and was arrested and thrown in jail. What did she do? She used her higher up in the system friends to get the drunk out of trouble. But if you or I did something like that, and she knew about it and were in her court room, she would yell at you like a dog and tell you what a loser you are and threaten you with jail.So you see Ms. Kennedy, you are no better than anyone else around here. You are a mean evil woman that no one likes. And if they do, they are only pretending. I also know about the magistrate you had fired. Remember? You are nothing but trash with a chip on your shoulder. But you will pay in the end with God,(I know you are a fake catholic) because you abuse your authority. You need to learn to be my sympathetic to people and listen to both sides of the story instead of judging because they are poor or because you are jealous of their looks.

COLUMBUS— The Ohio State Bar Association says it is not recommending Butler County Domestic Relations Judge Sharon Kennedy for a seat on the Ohio Supreme Court.

Kennedy, a Republican from Liberty Twp., is the only one among the five candidates for the high court this year to not get a favorable recommendation from the Ohio State Bar Association, which represents 25,000 lawyers and judges.

And Kennedy is one of only six candidates for the Supreme Court since 1986 to get the “not recommended” rating, according to Ohio State Bar Association spokesman Ken Brown. The last candidate to earn the unfavorable label was Ron Suster in 1998.

“I come from the front lines, as a police officer and trial judge, standing firm for the Constitution, and that doesn’t always make me popular but that’s what’s right for the Ohio Supreme Court,” Kennedy said in a statement.

The bar’s 25-member commission on judicial candidates evaluates them based on legal knowledge and ability, professional competence, judicial temperament, integrity, diligence, health, personal responsibility, and public service. Candidates who garner favorable evaluations from less than 60 percent of the panel are not recommended, those who earn favorable evaluations from at least 60 percent are rated recommended and those who earn approval from 70 percent or more are rated highly recommended.

Kennedy’s opponent, Justice Yvette McGee Brown, is rated highly recommended. McGee Brown is the only Democrat on the Ohio Supreme Court.

Justice Robert Cupp, a Republican seeking re-election, also received a highly recommended rating while his opponent, former Ohio Court of Appeals Judge William O’Neill, a Democrat, received a recommended rating.

Justice Terrence O’Donnell, a Republican who is unopposed at this point, received a recommended rating.

Voters often have difficulty determining who to pick for the state’s high court because the campaigns are typically muted by ethical restrictions and fundraising rules imposed on the candidates. The state bar is one of the few places voters can turn to for a nonpartisan recommendation.

“It is a very balanced group,” said Barbara Howard, chairwoman of the panel that issued the rankings.“We are one of the few neutral bodies that give the voters that insight.”

WOW!! It's nice to know that I am not the only mom who has suffered at the hands of the "dishonorable" Sharon Kennedy. It is so obvious that in Butler County (good ole boys club), it's all in who you know. I won custody of my kiddos with a Magistrate in DR court. My ex appealed and Judge Kennedy was assigned to the case. She completely overturned the Magistrates decision and gave custody to my ex who was never involved in their lives growing up.
She viewed the taped interviews of the Magistrate and my kids. The kids told the her that they wanted to live with me. She said the kids were "coached" and threw it out court. Needless to say, my kids, new husband and myself were absolutely devistated. My kids had NO voice. Her explanation?? I left Butler county, moved to Hamilton county and did not inform the court. My ex knew I was moving and it ended up being closer to his house even though it was a change in county. That was 3 years ago. I will NEVER understand how she can live with herself and sleep at night. That decision has affected my me and my kids possibly forever. I felt an incredible sense of satisifaction after reading the Ohio Bar Association "did not recommend" her for the Supreme Court. How embarrassing! Karma is a b...h!

Republican Judge Sharon Kennedy, received a rating of "not recommended" from the bar association. A "not recommended" rating means "this candidate's qualifications are not suited to perform the duties and responsibilities of chief justice or justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio," according to the bar association.

Yes, and the bar association very rarely does not recommend someone. I work with her and everyone knows she was not recommended because she is very inappropriate in the courtroom. Something is definitely wrong with this bitter woman.

LMAO! Very funny! You are correct about the bar association. I can't imagine having to work with her. I would dread going in to work everyday. I wonder if she is bitter because she has never been married?? I also heard rumors she was a lesbian.
