Pam and I moved here from Columbus in late Apr.this year. So far we have met one of the local fire fighters. Other than that I guess the "welcome wagon" must be in the repair shop. We are both retired but still very active, would like to hear from anyone in the neighborhood.

Ernie: Just give it time. You hardly ever see welcome wagons anymore. Times have changed but that does not mean there aren't any good people in town. I lived there for nearly two years and I moved to Talbot County right on the outskirts of Talbotton. I shop at Coopers all the time and I walk in the park. The people are friendly. Just give it time. Waverly Hall was one of the first places I wanted to live when my husband and I moved here. We are retired military. Just keep the faith and you can't go wrong.
