I had the pleasure of meeting this young man, Terrell, at Club 2151, He was very respectful , always had something nice to say, made sure you were comfortable, walked the ladies to their cars, my heart is sad den by such tragedy.

The Mayor is right, too many people get liquored up and act stupid. Tighter security is needed as well, more police patrols around clubs and off duty polieman as security people in the clubls. Time would be better spent in a church than a club, but that is a personal choice and I pray more will choose that option.

Unreal...I just read in the Belleville News Democrat that the Mayor Alvin Parks, Jr. is willing to not only allow clubs to open until 6:00AM, but will be allowing the serving of alcohol. I am flabergasted at such irresponsbility...he doesn't give s shit about that city, if he did, he wouldn't care what a MINORITY of "after-hour" club owners run his town. You get to most on Saturday nights between 10:00pm-12:00pm. Why the HELL would you want customer driving home AFTER DRINKING FOR at least six to seven hours-SHAMEFUL! Alvin Parks grow some fucking balls are step down. If you cannot be willing to bring POSTIVE change to your city...your community is doomed!!!

This is the very reason why I HATE coming back home...not law and order pure fucking bullshit!! Plus, I don't want to be sitting in my Grandmother's house and end up getting shot by a stray bullet from someone coming from the club at 6:00AM, full of liquor-DUMB ASS!!!

Are you kidding? It is sad that someone lost their life, but what is sooo good about a club serving liquor until 6:00am, by the way, the word you are looking for is SADDENED, not sad den

East st. louis will never be more than it is... the problems are cultural. The only people that can solve the problems of that city are the people themselves

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Aquarius

Avoid making promises today, or even believing in other people's promises. Today is not a good day to make commitments, as they are not likely to materialise. Taking risks is a no-no. Try to relax until the numbers are in your favour. Those pursuing their career will benefit.
