So sad.... why is it that children are always the victim. It breaks my heart hearing things like this. I'm a young mother of two! and I'm not even that stupid to leave my child with a friend.... she needs parenting classes... oh wait maybe she will wind up in jail at the end of all of this for neglect! I hope so!

I've known the "victim's" mother since she was a child herself. The baby is better off dead than in her care. This is definately fowl play!

There's another child in her care that definately needs to be taken out of her so called care. DCF should have taken that poor boy out of her care a year ago when she put bleach in his formula. The system is TWISTED!The state needs to start mandatory sterilization on dead beats like Sara Hicks. This is not the first time she caused severe trauma in someone's life. I just hope it's the last life that has to be sacraficed by her evil hand! Real talk!!!!

shes a selfish b****, that doesnt deserve to even have pet cuz she wouldnt know how to take care of it ,let alone a poor little baby! Why did he have to die for people that know her to relize what a dead beat mother she is.She needs to be in jail along with whomever had someyhing to do with lifeless baby. The father is in jail.He never really took care of the boy anyway. Sara was raised by a loving pastor that saved her from the system when she was 3 mos. old. She was never grateful for the helping hand that my grandmother showed her. I'm just glad that she's not here to see this tragedy, it definately would have killed her!She is selfish, using her children to collect money from the state. She sells her foodstamps to buy drugs! Those babies are always hungry! She leaves them with anybody, so I'm not even surprised that this unfortunate death occured. It was more like, "oh, it finally happened".She needs to be brought to justice. But here's the icing on the cake; She's pregnant right now!!!!!!!

This is disgusting. I keep learning more about this situation. The state has failed us on more than one instance. DCF needs new training and to step up to the plate. OR...we can all start a fundraiser for Amari's sister to assist in her hopefully a healthy upbringing for a happy and healthy future. A mother who will poison her own children, leave them alone for a week, should be put on permanent hormones to never concieve again and go through some serious counseling, in jail. IF she gets that... These people are sick and if they can do that to an innocent baby, their own, what else can they do?
