The state will build a $15 million juvenile detention center for girls in Bridgeport so it can keep them out of adult prisons and other facilities scattered around the state, Gov.

It's an excellent idea, juveniles don't belong with adults, not at this age, but later on they will be back in the crime scene and they will be try like the real ones. Right now they Are BEGINNERS.

15 MILL? LET'S SEE, "OUR DRAWN BRIDGE" "POTHOLES THE SIZE OF A MANHOLE" "MORE ACTIVITIES FOR OUR YOUTH" LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT "CONSTANT FLASHING TRAFFIC LIGHTS" AND THAT'S JUST TO NAME A FEW. I THINK BUILDING THIS JAIL IS ENCOURAGING THESE YOUNG WOMEN TO ACT IN THE MANOR THEY ARE ACTING SO THAT THEY CAN BE "BAD" OR "DOWN W/THE CLICK". AS A RESIDENT, I FEEL THAT THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES TO FOCUS ON OTHER THAN ANTICIPATING ON TAKING 1'S FREEDOM. THEY DON'T NEED TO BE FIT TO BE INMATES, THEY NEED TO BE FIT FOR GROWING IN TO BEING CIVIL YOUNG LADIES.

ONLY THE PART ABOUT "BACK IN THE CRIME SCENE" IN MY OPINION, I JUST THINK MAYBE THAT'S PART OF THE REASON WHY THEY ARE THE WAY THEY ARE. NO SUPPORT AT HOME, PEOPLE NOT HAVING FAITH IN THEM. Why is government wasting 15 million dollars on jail for teens. Did you know that half of niantic youth offener are in D.C.F. The sad thing is most of thoses girls have mental health problems and need help,there crying out for help, but who listen. No one because the sysyem does not asked , because they have a plan sometime before the child has a way a out. Weas adult need to talk more to ARE CHILD AND fine OUT WHATS THE PROBLEM. You know I've looked up a couple of case and most of them are there because they ran away from group home or resditial and D.C.F put them there to find a housing place for them. Is that the only place they can find, now do you think that rigth for them girls and boys to be sitting in prison waitting for damm houisg program to be open. Now you tell if the system mess up are young child.
