So the shop owner selling food from his store, pays taxes and employees gets undercut by the tax and labor free church. Fine for people that need it, for the rest that don't, shame on you.

I'll bet you never shopped at Walmart, your TV is made in the USA and you never drove anything other than a 100% American made car.
Get off your hypocritical soapbox and shame on you Bones!
As we get raped by the Utility, Gas and Oil Company; thank God for Angel Tree!

Your argument makes no sence and does not address the fact that the church operates without paying taxes or employees, yet competes with business. So you buy food from them when you have the money to pay retail. It's Just not right to take resorces and donations ment for the poor, so you can save a buck.

This deal should only happen once a month...that will cut back on people who don't need help taking advantage of the help...The food should not be paid for by clients...but donations...
this is not for a churh to be taking donations and selling the food to folks. It will make businesses loose money this is bad...if everyone/anyone can just shop there...We have stores to make people work, pay taxes and spend money for our countries economy. Tag sales is what is ruining our economy...people buy used and never shop for new stuff. Soon we will have to go back to the barter system...with the way things are going. Sorry to go off on another subject...I am so discusted...Food stamps, what happened to that? I better go I am getting to long here.

While investigating Angel Food MInistries, I learned that Angel Food purchases all of the product they sell each month in bulk from regular food sources; I'm sure they are using the same sources as BJs and Walmart. They then choose to pass on the savings, with no desire to make a profit, to each of us. This is done for the many people who have so little -- and, personally, I applaud their effort and desire to help others. Go Angel Food!
