There is another place called Greg's BBQ or something like that on George Urban. Friends of mine rave about this place. Thats my next place to hit up ribs. Where is Texas Roadhouse?

350 more displaced workers collecting New York State unemployment insurance...Great news huh?...Severance Package?...TRA?...Nooooo...tho se words have no meaning in a non-union business do they? It's first come, first serve at Erie County Workforce develpoment as far as the $3000.00 re-training grant goes, and at the rate I've seen people applying for it, my guess would be the federal grant is just about used up for this year.
Maybe the former employees of Roadhouse will get a list of all the restaurants that might be hiring dishwashers and bussers for the summer...
I guess having your place of employment close down without notice can happen to anyone...
Well, good luck to you all...you're going to need it...

Texas Roadhouse is on Colvin and Eggert in Tonawanda. Food is good, along the same lines as the Roadhouse, and peanuts and rolls as well! Gas Man wrote: <quoted text>I got gas eating there!

Texas Roadhouse is a subsidary of Roadhouse Grill...and I loved their food, especially the sirloin, I never had a bad one! The rolls were awesome. As far as the peanut shells, I never saw anyone spitting them out onto the floor. God if you can't have a little fun forget it and stay home!

It's obviously very unfortunate for the employees who have lost their jobs. However, I won't miss this place as their food wasn't anything special.

If the Texas Roadhouse is somewhat connected to the Roadhouse Grill, would that be another one potentially ready to close?? Just shootin from the hip?

My daughter and I both loved going to Roadhouse. The last time we were there the food was excellent. Like the other person said "It seems like the parking lot is always full at night no matter what day it is" Someone must have been hitting the til. I just said to my daughter last week that the Roadhouse Grill was a gold mine and now look what happened. Pitiful.

Texas is and never EVER has been associated or a subsidiary of Roadhouse Grill Inc. They are a completely different chain who is doing their best to take the lesson from Roadhouse Grill about opening too many too fast and watching their chain inevitably teeter into the bowl.

This is a great example of why employees should never give a crap about the company they work for. Companies these days don't care about their employees only the bottom line.
