Haltom City voters to decide on six bond proposals
By Darren Barbee Haltom City voters will be asked in November to decide on $39 million in bond proposals for street repairs, a new city hall and a police and fire station that proponents say represent the 'future' of the city.If the bond is approved, the property tax rate will rise over a number of years from 7 to 9 cents to pay for the debt.A ...

I hope the voters are smart enough to vote down every one of these bond proposals. Folks, we are in a recesion. I can't afford a new house. Why should every city worker in Haltom City have a brand new house to work in on my dollar ??????????

Taxes are o.k,except when Leaders abuse them.Look at their Pay increases,and you will understand that!Too many People are Corrupted,in the Line of Duty,so no more Tax Increases!!!
