I wrote "When was the last time....." and you respond with centuries ago. Hee, Hee. You wrote "Atheists respect life". Which ones, Dood? The ones in China's CCP who drag women from their homes screaming and into a cheap hotel rooms or abortion clinics to kill their infants? Or the Russia Government/Mafia consortium that frames innocent people, tortures them to death in prisons to extract "confessions" and then steals the victim's business enterprise? Stalin wiped out so many people that he could have sold the bodies to King Obama for Green Recycling and made a ..hee, hee...killing.... Or how about Cuba where....well, I'm not going to spend the entire evening rubbing your face into your own doggie-poo. That face looks bad enough as it is. “So any adroit, unscrupulous fellow, who knows the world, has only to get among these simple souls and his fortune is quickly made; he plays with them.” – Lucian of Samosata, "The Passing of Peregrinus." (2nd century AD). With over 1200 Christian organizations, the USA has a greater number of Jesus fan clubs than any other country in the world. The proliferation of variegated brands of Christianity in America is so extreme that it acquires a comic dimension. One might discern only a subtle difference in name between, say, the "Evangelical Congregational Church" and the "Evangelical Covenant Church", or the "Church of God in Christ" and "Church of Christ" but miss a gulf of doctrinal distinction. But then, who is bothered about doctrine anyway? Denominations, a source of so much anguish and bloodshed in the past, have diminishing importance in the era of evangelical psychosis, mega-churches and apocalyptic blockbusters. The important thing is to "have religion". "With religion" you are a patriot, defending the American way of life; without religion you are a subversive radical, an enemy. Christianity USA is all show business and emotional razzmatazz. Organised as international corporations, with a globalised "mission" of subsidiary offices, its product is propaganda, pouring in prodigious quantity from a network of TV and radio stations and publishing houses. The intent is to draw further millions into the mass of devotees. In choreographed extravaganzas Pastor whips up mindless love of Jesus and serious fund raising, and then retreats to his opulent sanctuary, content in knowing that he is a tireless servant of the Lord.

This from former IRS Commissioner Fred Goldberg "These returns reflect the complexity of our tax laws and the types of investment activity that I would anticipate for persons in their circumstances. There is no indication or suggestion of any tax-motivated or aggressive tax planning activities. In my judgment, they have fully satisfied their responsibilities as taxpayers. They have done so by relying on a highly reputable return preparer and other advisors, who have in turn relied primarily on information provided by third parties to them and to the IRS. The end result of that process has been returns that include a multitude of schedules, IRS forms and accompanying statements that provide appropriate transparency and the proper payment of taxes that Governor and Mrs. Romney owe under current law."

I wonder what God will think about all you "Christians" voting for a known non-christian? So this guy calls himself a Christian. And this guy who calls himself a Christian calls another guy(Barry Obama) who also calls himself a Christina - a Christian, too! Cool, eh? Where are you going with this? Who's on second, Blowhard?

It will take time for al Qaeda to reach it's goal and become the governing power in the Middle East but they're influence with the help of Iran is behind the unrest we are witnessing. Israel could strike Iran's nuclear facilities any day. Literally. Iran threatened that there would be nothing remaining of Israel if that happens. We are going to be forced to join with other nations and intervene militarily on a much bigger global front if al Qaeda is to be stopped from controlling the Middle East and if Israel drops the first bomb on Iran. It's more a matter of when, not if. I believe we are watching the beginning of WWIII unfold before our eyes. I can only hope I'm wrong and pray you're right. We tried to stay out of WWII too if you remember until Pearl Harbor. Israel and Iran could very well be our Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor did happen again. It was on Spetember 11, 2001. Our enemies attacked us from the air on that day much like the Japanese did in Hawaii so many years ago. The difference... many more people (americans and foreignors alike) were killed in Manhatten, Northern Virginia, and the field in Pennyslvania than died on Oahu On December 7, 1941. Economically the United States started its downhill slide that day as the twin towers representing our financial strength came tumbling down.

The fact that Greece went on a spending spree is well documented and in turn for votes rewarded the citizens with subsidies and government programs. Google it. Greece also had(or still does have)a shadow economy of nepotism, cronyism and graft which also greatly contributed to its economic ills when the bird of fate began singing. Spain, too, to a lesser degree. When you walk through WalMart, how many Greek Whirlygigs do you see on the shelves? The Greeks sell and manufacture...what? Sunsets, hotels and Opa! finally pooped out and now comes the hangover. And boy are they ever crabby!

Sure, some people might be offended by it, like the slackers who are in denial, or even the proud slackers. But I think a good percentage of slackers will rush to vote for Romney so that they can distance themselves from the rest of the slackers. Those slackers don't really want to be slackers because the benefits they receive from the government don't come close to the money they can make in a good economy, not to mention that they are unsure if Obama care will even cover their prescription marijuana. Do you recall when King Obama belittled white Christian middle class Pennsylvanians during his last Presidential campaign? He spoke derisively of pickups, guns and religion with a smirk on his face. The media played with this for about 3 seconds. The Jerk-In-Chief has blurted out many of these little gems but the media always moves on to bury it quickly. However, Mitt Romney is a different story. The Liberal MSM always aims for his jugular. It's their job. Obama owns them.

OzRitz wrote: <quoted text> No argument there, but in the end social programs need to be paid for and if you have one part of the economy with its hand out and another part of the economy with a closed fist. Then of course it is going to fail big time. If you had the measures that the Greeks have put on them at the moment you would be rioting in the streets as well. It was let go for far too long, so the pain is so much worse. The US is no different, if you keep current entitlements like Medicare without dramatic changes & keep spending 2-3% extra of GDP on Military than anyone else then you are heading the same way as the Greeks. Why do you think Health care was made a priority by Obama yet you righties turned into loss of freedom bs. Then if its a cut to Military is loss of security, if its an increase in Taxes its Obama hurting business. Its all BS, if you don't take those measures and think the old ways are tried and proven then you are in one of "Steve Jobs" distorted reality fields. You have to look back and see the result of dropping financial rules on Wall St that Reagan did, and follow through on the Economic graph and see where the real problems have occured then ask what do we change to fix this problem. NOT to say lets do it all over again. If you have to hide behind I see you have shifted away from your claim that Greece was not socialistic in its approach to government. We are suffering from similar problems Greece is; too few contributing to the revenue base due to high employment. Greece's tax rate is at 45%. The problem with using taxes or the "Fair Share" claim for income redistribution is you cannot force businesses or even wealthy individuals from not ex-patrioting which is happening in France as their tax rate hit 75%. The US has had several large businesses move their corporate headquarters over seas. However, if you look at the economies not struggling such as Canada and Australia you will see the opposite. They lowered taxes and businesses are migrating to them. More businesses, more revenues from both the business and the employees. The old way worked while this experiment in the EU failed miserably.
