They already have a law in place for animal abuse wouldn't this fall under that?

When you want legislatures to pass other bills it never just happens but they can find the time to introduce this petty crap I wonder how much they got in "kickbacks"/gifts to persue this one.
Why not make it a law that at nursing homes you can't have more than 2 to a room?? you know like code enforcement does to everyone else with there "ordaninces" (no more than 2 to a room they claim for fire saftey reasons which I have my doubts they don't seem to care about all the school children crammed in a room). I pity some of those poor old folks they work hard all there life only to have there family what is left of it piss all there money away and dump them in a home where they are left to die. Where's the laws to protect these people? Too busy worrying about nonsense while lining there pockets. Supporting only what money can buy what a joke legislatures you all should be ashamed wasting the time on such frivelous nonsense.
Are you planning on making food so unaffordable that your worried about people eating animals to survive?
It's not like people in towns and city's are aloud to raise chickens ect.
I personally wouldn't eat animals but if it came to starving or eating them I may reconsider but I'm sorry most people are not eating there house pets
Probably some dam animal activaist or group of the sort gave this law-maker a gift or contributions financially for them to even think about proposing this crap.
What a bunch of losers we have in our offices.
Why not go after nursing homes eh????
How is it right to have more than 2 in a room??
Matter of fact why don't you law-makers take turns visiting these homes that one day when your old your kids will dump you in and make some laws protecting them?????
Let the flippin animals and there owners alone.....

There has been a very, very long history of eating dogs here in the US. Ever heard of a couple of guys named Lewis and Clark? Would it surprise you all to know that they had dogs with them on their journey - dogs that they used for food???

I'll admit that I have never knowingly eaten dogs or cats, but I do find it odd that we are trying to criminalize something that was always a part of the American way...
