We need more people at these meetings. The crook mayor wants to change all of the laws of ringgold, unless we get more people in those meetings. Come on Ringgold, lets get in the middle of these things.

I understand that more people need to be in the meetings but if they go they will get mad and find a reason to lock you up and not let you out..
Seen it happen to many times!
What we need is to make sure ALOT of people will stand together,call the news stations and stand in the streets until we get some government in there who wants to obey their own laws...
I thought the mayors of the parish was in jail, guess they just got slapped on the hands for stealing and beating their wives while the citizens of the parish live in jail for the same crimes...
I think we need to set a date,put the word out, call the news station and protest..

Just wondering, I understand how you feel but not all Law Enforcement is the same. Even a department as sorry as Ringgold Police Department, there are a few good officers that try. When everyone brings down the entire department, it groups the good with the bad and makes the good officers not even want to try. With that being said, I know that some of the bad officers need to be arrested.

The PD is not the only problem, it starts with the District Attorneys office. They plea bargain more then 99.99% of the cases they get. The only ones they really try and stick it too are people that had signs up against the DA or somone that speaks out against the Sheriff. The PD gets tired of arresting the same ole people and they beat the Officer back to Ringgold before he is done with his paperwork.

Before you jump to conclusions, NO, I am not a Police Officer in Ringgold but I am a Police Officer out of Bienville Parish. I know alot of the former Officers as well as some of the current ones. It kills my soul to hear people claim that ALL officers are selling drugs or doing this or that when the ones I know would never do that, they wanted to clean up that town, but the Sheriff and former DA didnt want that to happen.

I feel your frustration, but just please try not to group all Officers together. When we work for pennies and think we are actually doing good for the community and then hear people say we are selling drugs, to be honest. It hurts the good Officers.

I didnt say they were all bad, i do have friends who are police officers in webster and bossier but not in this parish! I am talking about this parish and i wasnt talking about police only either.
The whole beinville parish government is crooked as hell!

Is this the Ringgold or Hall Summit forum? It really does not matter... because the problems are the same, I was just wondering.
Crazy like a Fox... my hats off to you... I have said in a previous post that not all the law enforcement is bad... I know, and I am sure others know, there are some that are doing their jobs for the right reasons.
I will however say again... for those of us without badges... we need to stand up! One or two families cannot fight this by themselves.
We have kids growing up in both of these parishes... they are going to be one of 2 places.. on the right side of the law...or the wrong side...I hear to many people watch a kid make a bad choice, or fall in with the wrong crowd and say... well... they are bad news...so do we write the kids off... or hold the adults that are corrupting our children responsible?
The same can be said with the young ones watching how both the Police Officers...and citizens live. I wonder what it is like for a kid to watch the same people get away with the same crap again and again. What is it like for the kids to watch a couple officers do their jobs while others sweep things away.
Things can only be swept under the rug for so long, and then a mound builds up under that rug and becomes a tripping hazard.

I do understand what your saying, but if there were good cops in this parish then they would do something about the bad ones instead of watching them or knowing they do illegal things and not saying anything...Their are also good people they arrest and do shitty just because they can, what about the cops making the citizens look bad?

I think that mayor is a idiot but I do believe that some of the cops do try & some dont. I say wait until the next election or lets try to have a new election for mayor & chief..

You are so right and again not all cops are bad but one or two good ones cant say anything or stand up to the rest of them because they do out weigh the good! But the main thing is standing up and getting rid of the sheriff,mayor and d.a and the a.d.a and anyone else i may have left out and starting over.

Another thing is stop the over crowding in the jail with innocent people and put the crooked ass people tring to run this parish in there for a while with NO air, not let them go outside, not let them go to church or have visitations...Let them have heat strokes like they did someone else i know...

I know someone that is going to run for Police Chief in Ringgold. If he gets it, expect to see a HUGE difference.

I agree with 110% of everything you just wrote. I would love to say who is running for Police Chief, but I am not sure if he wants it to be known yet or not.

He has lived in Ringgold all his life and knows alot of people. He told me all of his ideas if he gets it and they are great. He is not one to make all of these promises to just get elected and then not follow through with it. He makes 6 figures right now and is going to take a HUGE pay cut. I told him he is crazy for quiting his job to be Police Chief but he said that his own family can not even go check the mail bc they are scared and that is not right. If he gets elected, get ready to see alot of him. His plan is to work 7 days a week 12 hour shifts. I dont want to say the rest of his ideas just yet.

Yeah there are alot of people scared but its not just being scared of the citizens but mostly scared of going to town,mowing your yard,buying gas,gro and getting harrassed by the police dept...They love to harrass the people who pose NO treat to them but will not do a damn thing to the ones who do...Its almost like they want all the good people locked up or to move out so it would be easier for them to get by with everything they do.

It will be interesting to see how the election turns out. I am hearing that a guy named Larry Jones is supposed to run against my friend. Jones is an officer for Ringgold right now. I heard that the chief is wanting to fire him, but the mayor loves him so its going to be a wild ride until the election.

wow and you no whats sad is if he runs he will probaly win...I hate to say it but John Ballance keeps getting back in there and i know that many people cant like him...I havent met but one who did like him and he even talks bad about him so how in the hell does he keep winning it? I dont know, if JB is counting votes or not, but that is a very scary thought. JB hates my friend and will do whatever he can to keep him from getting elected. Just wait and see. I have warned him, but he doesnt care, he is running anyways.

JB dont like anyone when it has anything to do work...He is two faced as hell, you can go talk to him about a problem and he will hug your neck and have sugar dripping off him but laughs when you leave the room and will not do anything to help..I am almost sure something is up with the votes though because i find it very hard to believe he keeps getting elected honestly and I am not the only one that feels that way..
