Butterfield or Butterbean, if you actually work for a living and are a citizen, you can't be very informed if you support this sadsack of it. However; if you are convinced that everyone owes you a living, then I am sure you will get some satisfaction supporting Butterfield, he will help the whitehouse muslim redistribute the producers income to the likes of needy little you........If this is you, you will always be needy, and dependent on the kindness of strangers.

I will vote against GK Butterfield every time. He is so quick to tell ENC how poor it is, however, he has been in office for 6 years and has done nothing to improve the situation.

I sent Mr Butterfield a check for $30. to fly a flag over the Capitol. It never got flown and I had to cancel the check. No one ever returned my calls or Emails on why the flag was not flown. Yes, that is enough for me to not vote for you.

I would say that with my prayers, complaints, and protests that I also assisted with keeping the OLF away from eartern NC. By the way, in 2009 Burroffered an amendment:

Today, U.S. Senator Richard Burr (R-North Carolina) offered an amendment to the Department of Defense Authorization bill currently under consideration in the Senate. The amendment would prohibit the establishment of an outlying landing field (OLF) in Sandbanks or Hale's Lake, North Carolina for Oceana Naval Air Station.
"It has always been my hope that the Navy and the State of North Carolina would find a location for an OLF that was acceptable to both the military and the local community," said Senator Burr. "However, it is clear that North Carolinians are opposed to the proposed sites, and I am disappointed with the Navy's efforts to work with the communities involved."
The outlying landing field sites being considered in Sandbanks and Hale's Lake would support field carrier landing practice for naval aircraft operating out of Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia. The jet-training field would have a negative impact on the surrounding communities' economy, farmlands, and local wetlands and wildlife in the area.
"This lengthy process has been difficult on many North Carolinians. It is crucial the Navy listen to the local community when considering these sites," Senator Burr added.
