Full story: Marin Independent Journal

Boo hoo?

Many were ultra-greedy, spending money frivolously on themselves, while not giving any care to those in poverty. I hope and pray that these economic trials many are experiencing will result in less greed and greater compassion.

Bigger homes equates to irresponsible living and energy hogs.

"I really think we have to re-think in real estate and work harder for this," said D'Arro,"

Yea, start by giving a real estate agent 1%, or less.

She misspoke. I think she meant to say "we have to re-think in real estate and actually do some work for this".

It all comes down to salary and the ability to secure financing. It's sad that my husband and I jointly make 200K+ but can't afford a modest 3/2.

The IJ has run more articles about Marin real estate prices than anything else. Quite annoying and somewhat sad that it seems to place such a high importance on monthly fluctuations.
