Good Samaritan helps man in wheelchair escape Fair Lawn house fire
A fire ripped through a home in Fair Lawn early this morning. It wasn't until hours later, when Dean Brauch's daughter Amy e-mailed police, that they could identify the North Haledon man as the good Samaritan at the two-alarm fire on Fair Lawn Avenue, Sgt.

The good samaritan was an angel this morning I awoke to banging on the door and yelling. We got out only with the clothes on our back I coulnt even get the car out of the driveway. We lost things but are grateful to have survived. Thank you to everyone who helped us.

IM SO GLAD DEAN WAS GOING DOWN YOUR STREET JUST AT THAT TIME,HOPE YOU ARE ALL OK,HE WAS A FIRE FIGHTER, SO HE KNEW WHAT TO DO..COPS AND FIREMEN WERE ALL GREAT TO,HE DOESNT LIKE ALL THIS FUSS,BUT I GUESS HE WAS BRAVE FOR WHAT HE DID...
