why is a fashion editor writing about art?

Does it matter if she knows her stuff?

Great review Nadine. I agree...the show is visually pleasing, and high in quality—but rather derivative. You cite Zebzda's debt to pop art. Other pieces brought to mind David Hockney and Chakaia Booker. Does skilled execution trump originality?
ps: Nadine is an accomplished features writer who can turn her eye to a lot more than fashion.

I didn't say that right.
It should have been: Does it matter that she's a fashion editor if she knows her stuff about fine arts?
