The best way to see how much the pastor loves his church family or loves the Lord is to stop his paycheck. The ministry should not be a career anyway. Like you said, if Sunday School teachers can serve Christ out of love, then why can't the guy that is supposed to be setting the highest standard. Many of these guys even want you to sign unbiblical pledges to promise to support them with money in order for you to be "fit" to serve in their church. Amazing how a pastor will not let a person use their spiritual gift unless they pay into the coffers, but he wont use his spiritual gift unless he is paid out of them. Beware of these kinds of wolves that extort you of your money asking you to sign these things. The bible says to avoid extortioners.

A Biblical Christian does not believe:

-Salvation is founded upon going to church; -Truth is only understood by pastors; -Church authoritarianism and hierarchy are ordained by Jesus Christ; -Institutional churches are what Jesus died on the cross to establish; -Giving of your tithes and offerings will make you prosper; -The pastors words are inspired by the Holy Spirit and are infallible; -Modern day "pastors" and "preachers" are "God's generals"; -Jesus Christ speaks to us only through "professionally" trained preachers; -The clergy dressed in their fine business suits are “holy men.” 2 Tim. 3:1-7

What about pastors that threaten people who have left their religious business(that they call a church), not to contact people that are still there. I have seen elders threaten people that leave a church, not to contact those still there. These cowards have no authority over you. If you leave a church, people should know why you left. Don't leave quietly, and don't be threatened by those that try to silence you. As long as your reasons for leaving are true, or you simply share your honest opinion, you are protected by law. No pastor can violate your constitutional right to free speech, even if you are telling the world what a wolf in sheep's clothing he is. If you left because the pastor was spiritually abusive, tell everyone you know and even those that you don't. Start a blog and let the world know what kind of abuse you suffered at the hands of these wolves. Don't think for a minute that these 2 faced liars don't slander you after you leave to those that are still there!

Or false prophets that claim that the bible say you have to be "in church" Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night, even though it says n such thing. Listen as this so called preacher abuses his people for not being "in church".

This is the reason that so many Christians are leaving the babylonian harlot religious system all over the country. People are catching on to the facts that:

*Mandatory tithing is a lie used to scam money from people.
*The church are the people and not a building, therefore you don't have to "go to church", you ARE THE CHURCH!
*Many preachers plagiarize (steal) sermons from sources other than seeking inspiration from the Holy Spirit (better off to stay home, keep your money, cut out the middle man) and read your own bible.
*God does NOT live in buildings made by human hands according to the bible, so the so called church buildings are not the "house of God". Those that say you must be in the house of God, do not study the bible enough to see how wrong these statements are.

A Biblical Christian will know that their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did NOT SAY:

-"Blessed are those who go to church".

-"Submit to the authority of pastors".

-“Worship Me by giving of your tithes and offerings.”

-"Your sins are forgiven by going to church".

-"Life revolves around preachers and churches".

-"Touch not mine anointed".

-"Fear your leaders".

-"Attend church on Saturday or Sunday".

-"It is a sin to not go to church".

-"Build physical church buildings and fill the pews with financial contributors".

-"Let paid hirelings and professional clergy do your thinking".

-"Don't challenge religious leaders of churches".

-"Pastors are the living waters of life".

-"Follow seminary/academy trained clergy leaders".

-"Pastors, senior pastors, reverend pastors, and doctor pastors are a special class of people who rule over my followers".

I believe God wants us to sexually experiment with each other. Just like God gave us animals to devour he also gave this world children.

Jeremiah 23 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord.
Has your pastor ever scattered the congregation because of his sin? God says a woe is upon that pastor.
2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.
The Lord will not let this dishonest pastor get away with doing this. Just pay attention Valdosta. God's word is true.
16 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
How many of them say that they have a vision of a bigger building that YOU are going to pay to build. All because they claim that God want's it, and if you refuse they say that you have no vision.
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
These false prophets plagiarize each others sermons and God is against them for doing it.
40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
The Lord says that He will do this. Do you know why there are blogs about shameful pastors, it is because the Lord said that He would cause it to be for a perpetual shame that shall not be forgotten.
you are correct
