In my opinion, a person's age has little bearing on their level of potential violence. A little kid holding a .38 at your head is just as dangerous as one being held by an 80 year-old.
Old folks who spent their youth committing crimes don't magically turn into l.a. citizens on their 50th birthday. I don't always automatically extend respect to seniors. When they are disrespectful or have criminal intentions, I won't hesitate to react with force. Don't leave your children with someone just because you think the person is too old to be
violent. Don't confuse this elderly man with your grandpa who's never broken the law and probably never will.
