My ex husband Carmon Branson is at rogers state prison in Reidsville ga.an I worried that he to may be getting abused their know to.Why is it that a gard can beat an inmate an get away with it?Just because someone is doing time in prison does not mean that they don't have right's because they do just like we all do an no one has a right to be abused.If an inmate does something they get in trouble for it but if a gard does something they don't an why is that?The only differant's is that they are working an getting payed to be their.

MY COUSIN IS AT ROGERS STATE,FOR A DRUG CHARGE I WONDER WHY DO THEY LET PEOPLE WITH DRUG CHARGES BE LOCKED UP WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE KILLED AND RAPE AND CHILD MOLESTED KIDS BE IN THE SAME PRISON THATS BAD.AND ABOUT THE GUARDS WHO ABUSE INMATES THEY SHOULD CHARGE THEM AND LOCK THEM UP WITH THE SAME INMATES AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.NOT JUST GET FIRED GET TIME WERE THEY DID THE ABUSE.HOW WOULD THEY LIKE THAT?

why does people think they have rights in prison when who they killed stoled from or abrused didnt have any rights they was sent to prison to be punnished thats what wrong with system today people gets off to light and no justice prisoners should have no rights like it use to be

my husband is in there for a dui thats no place to be for that not everyone there should be there!!!!!!!

In order for him to be in prison for a DUI, he had to have either injured someone while DUI or he has had about a million DUIs. Which one is it?
If he was drinking and driving, he DESERVES to be there!

You know it's very easy for those on the outside looking in to voice their opinion towards prisoner abuse. However they are only looking at it from one side, because they have a loved one doing time. They don't see their loved one projecting fecec, urine and or hot liquid substances on each other and staff.They don't see their loved one ganging up on a young kid taking what's left of his innocents, they don't see the games they play by having their loved ones bring them drugs and other prohibited items into the prison. They don't see them for the crimes they committed. Yes there are a few bad apples working in the system that abuse their positions and do things they should be locked up for, but what about those of us that protect your family members and loved ones and put our lives on the line to keep them safe from harm everyday? Just like we'll never stop crime from ocurring we'll never be able to stop all of the unjust things ocurring in our system. We can only hold those accountable for their own actions.

You never accept the charges when I call, You return the letters that I write, You never come to visit unless someone close has died, You say "We should keep in touch", when I do you show me just how much you care, So what's the point of keeping in touch when I already know your'e not there? You say that you love me and blood is thicker than water, would you still feel the same way if if it was you in here instead of your daughter?????????? When I write I never ask for money, when I call it's just to escape my fate, since I have have no way to contact you, I just want say I just got raped.If you love me like you say you do then please accept my call, For I may never leave this place, but my name will stay on these walls..........

People in prison murder us, steal from us, sell drugs to our children, rape us, and the list goes on and on.

They are there by there own doing.

In olden days they would have had much, much worse done to them.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

You know people, I agree with you.COm ing from someone on the inside at one time, they are treated like they are in a freaking state funded day care center! I have personally heard the warden practically begging the inmates and I quote"al right now fellas ya'll behave tonight on third shift. Tell the officers no matter how late the game stays on to let yall watch it!" Is this not waek as hell!!! And when some of those same inmates refused to get up for their 0300 am detail there was a big problem resulting in DR's written and grievences put on officers and the sad fact the grievences stood they felt that the officers were in the wrong! There is just one of many examples that I witnessed of how the inmates beat State of Georgia LOP and SOP rules and guidlines. Still breaking rules with the Warden and head officers and personnels help!! Freaking pitiful!!!!

My dad is licked up at Rogers State Prison for the same charge as your cousion and i feel the same way you do about the other inmates. i think that they should have a seperate floor for the drug people and another floor for the more violent crimes and but thoses inmates there.

[Hit by a DUI]

I need some help people, a guy was DUI and hit me while i was changing a tire and broke both my legs, i spent my wedding in a hospital. I know he is now in Roger State Prison and i want some type of way to contact him and be able to get as much info about the prison as possible If anyone can give me any info please help.

My husband is locked up, he was only trying to support his family. There are a lot worse out there. If you choose to be on drugs so be it. Drug addicts have a choice and if anything they should be locked up, not my husband.

My nephew is there and I know he is probably going through a difficult time because this is a new situation for him. I hope and pray that he does not get abuse there, he is only 19 I know that does not excuse his crime however that still should not cause him to be abuse or disrexpected

All you people talkin that get tough on the inmates garbage need to remember one thing a large percentage of these inmates will walk the streets again one day. And trust me you dont want to run into an inmate who has been locked away for years and years without absolutely any rights and being abused. Treat them like animals and animals they will be. Its funny how alot of us talk about criminals like we have never committed a crime before in our life we actually many of us have wether it was smokin a little weed underage drinking dui stealing or many other things the difference we never got caught. So get off your high horse thinkin your above someone in prison because actually your not, they are people with rights also.

My boyfriend is in rogers, he was just sentenced 5 years. He got locked up when i was three months pregnant with our child. My son will be turning one in october and he's never been able to hold him. a couple of years ago i got into some trouble because i bounced a check, and now that , that is on my record they won't approve me to come see him. The warden even denied me a special visit and significant other. I believe that this is ridiculous. theres no way i can go that long with out seeing him and theres no reason he should have to go that long without seeing his son. I believe that it would benefit him if he was able to establish a relationship with his son, it would give him a reason to want to change and do better for himself. Is any one else going through this?, please tell me how you deal with it!

My son just got to Rogers State Prision. I am so afraid for him after reading these emails. I pray the authorities make sure that inmates are treated fairly. They should realize that even though they are in prision, we love our loved ones and just want them to serve their time and come out. This is my first experience with all of this. He is my only son and I shiver to think people will mistreat him just because he is in jail. He is already IN JAIL.

MY FIANCE IS AT ROGERS FOR A SIMPLE POSSESSION CHARGE WHICH IS A VIOLATION OF HIS PROBATION. WHEN HE CALLS ME, HE TELLS ME THAT THE COUNSELORS AT ROGERS ARE SORRY AS HELL!!!!! HE TELLS ME TO CALL AND TALK TO THEM BUT THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK. MY FIANCE IS AN OUTSPOKEN PERSON AND HE WILL SAY WHAT IS ON HIS MIND BUT I DON'T WANT HIM TO GET IN ANY TROUBLE BECAUSE HE STANDS UP FOR HIMSELF. BELIEVE IT OR NOT PEOPLE INMATES DO HAVE RIGHTS AND SOME OF THEM DO HAVE PEOPLE ON THE OUTSIDE WHO LOVE THEM. HOPEFULLY YOU WON'T GO TO PRISON AND SPEND TIME AWAY FROM YOUR LOVING FAMILY IF YOU DID THEN YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART IF YOU ARE BEING NEGATIVE TOWARDS INMATES. STOP BEING SO CRUEL.

the guards and the little gangs run rogers state prison. if anybody gets in trouble there its the people they have stole from and beat in the head with locks in their socks. tell me thats justice. not only are they in serving their time but also have to worry about beaten and stolen from by other prisoners.
