I visited Donkey's in Vineland recently and must comment on the owner's wife who was working at the time. I asked for a plain roll after my daughter's sandwhich was brought to the table on a poppy seed roll. My daughter who has a colostomy bag cannot have any seeds. I explained this to the girl working behind the counter and she asked for a plain roll for me. The owner questioned whether or not I specified I wanted a plain roll to begin with and then rolled her eyes at me when I explained my daughters medical condition. She was extremely rude and unprofessional!
As for the food itself I must say that there is more grease then meat on the sandwhich and if you don't want to be sick for the rest of the day I suggest eating elswhere.

Donkeys sandwiches are good for the hangover days all the grease get you the kick you need to make it through the day. I grew up on these sandwiches and I really enjoyed them back in the day. I dont know if my system can handle one today but I am willing to try.

I Tried The Donkey Sandwich and Loved it I just found out this is the fourth location and they have been in business since 1943. After eating one of the steaksandwich I understand how. Great Cole Slaw as well.

I have been eating Donkey sandwiches since I was a kid. They are super delicious. However I must admit that I hadn't eaten one for a few years and decided to try one recently. I was somewhat disappointed because I had invited a few people to try one and they were mostly onions with some meat. That left me feeling somewhat embarrassed after all that bragging. So, I thought I would give them another try and again more onions than meat. A minor adjustment would really save the day

I have gone to Donkey's in Vineland several times. I had a nice conversation with one of the owners (husband/wife team), and she gave us some of the history on her new business. I thought the sandwich and coleslaw were both great.

I went to the Donkeys in Vineland, I decided to give it a try I'm funny about the places I eat. I noticed that the door, floor and even the area the employees worked was clean. I like to see what I am eating my sandwich was prepared right in front of me, this was late on a friday night I was suprised. I did not have to wait long for my sandwich I wondered if this donkey had the same flavored onions and meat, again to my suprise it was firm tastey and hot. I am presntly on a diet it worth the cheat. They told me that I can get it in a salad I'm luv it
