Like my landlord has said many times for many years; "this is the most sophisticated form of slavery ever devised by man".
Slavery where the rich don't actually own you, but they do.
Slavery where the rich pay others more to keep those that make less under their control.
Slavery where you're asked to sacrifice, while the rich give themselves a pay raise for your sacrifice.

Or as George Carlin put it so bluntly;
"They (the rich) want obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept the increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, reduced benefits, the end of over time and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.
Now they're coming for your social security money. They want your fucking retirement money, they want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street (or big oil). And you know something, they'll get it. They'll get it all from you sooner or later, cause they own this fuckin place.
It's a big club, and you ain't in it. You and I aren't in the big club. By the way it's the same big club they beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe, what to think, what to buy.
The table is tilted folks, the game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.
Good honest hard working people, white collar, blue collar, it doesn't matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard working people, these are people of modest means continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don't give a fuck about them. They don't give a fuck about you, they don't care about you at all. At all.
And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. But that's what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will remain willfully ignorant. Because the owners of this country know the truth; it's called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it".

Tea Party?
The Tea Party is nothing but a wholly owned militant wing subsidiary of the frustrated Republican Party. They will control that party and it's message once elected. Then the Tea Party will fade into obscurity and only revive when Republicans need them to, much in the same way they use Libertarians for their economic theories, but only when out of power.

Cutting spending?
They'll simply create off-line black-ops hidden budgets, secret meetings, and borrow so you'll have no idea what the true cost is. The same way Bush Jr. did in hiding the cost of the Iraq war.

I kind of figured you would be the one with all the tin foil.
