How many Generals (of all ranks and services) are there in this US military?
And:
Why would that be a secret?

Jeff you need to read my original question again...
I want to know how many generals there are of "all ranks" and services.
All ranks means 1,2,3 and 4 star generals or their equivalents.

If it were that easy, I would have never posted the question.
