This child needs to be seen by a professional doctor with experience in this field.

PLUS- I will never ever take take another new feed seriously because these people ARE NOT giving you all the story and I agree with Steve here...get the child seen by a professional...and not an ER in one of the littlest towns in Oklahoma...even if it was not the grandfather someone has probably defiled this child and it needs to brought to the surface of whats going on in these peoples home...

They must not like someone that is part of BACA and in turn is trying to trash all BACA members like they are one. I know many BACA members and all theose I've met are great and caring people. Sometimes a child is to scared to speak up, but if they know they have a strong grownup standing with them to hlep them thorugh it they open up. I've seen such a thing happen and the child would have been terrified to stand alone so to speak.

I agree that the child should see a professional. But to say a child was fed this "story" by her parents is going a bit far. Whether or not her parents are drinkers doesn't change the fact that he may really have caught the girl trying to do something to her little brother and uncovered molestation. It happens more than any of us would like to know. I don't know these people and don't need to. A physical exam can prove that SOMETHING happened to her that shouldn't have. The girl's refusal to look at Bruce can be an indication that she is scared to face him thinking he will be mad.She IS a child after all. They don't like anyone to be mad at them regardless of the reason. And, yes, I realize it could mean she doesn't want to look at him cause she is lying and she knows it. But THAT is for the authorities and professionals to decide. You may not care for her folks but what will you think if it turns out Bruce DID in fact sexually assault her? Will you be woman enough to apologize to them for jumping to conclusions because of how you think her family is? Or will you just say that the system didn't look deep enough?

If I remember correctly (from earlier news story), a doctor did. The mother was told she didn't even want to know what all had happened to her child.

I am from the town they are from...i am not saying the BACA make me sick because standing next to a child...I am saying how could they take a stand against someone who has not been proven guilty! and oh yes if he did do he should be held for his conviction, but if you knew this woman...does anyone know where the father of the oldest daughter is and what he is being acussed of?! NO! and no I would not apologize to the parents..and that is the fact that this is not about the parents...its about the little girl and who has really done this to her...and she was seen by an ER doctor...and come on shouldn't this little girl be in counseling? for her sake! and I was saying that you people( mainly the reporters) make me sick because they would exploit this man for something he has not been proven guilty for. would you stand up to the grandfather if he is proven innocent and apologize for destroying his life...this man has no job now and will probably never be able to work again...even convicts get a chance to have a life after parole..but yet a man that has not been convicted has no chance

You know. I've been told not to look at these comments but I ventured into it and I must say this is an awful thing going on. Thank you Jammie for going to bat for Bruce. I know there tearing you up but there doing the same to Bruce. You might as well stop though because what is said on here and everywhere else on the internet isn't going to affect the outcome of the case OR on judgement day. Obviuosly, some people on this website have never had a loved one accuesed of such or a loved one violated. Look here people, this is my father-in-law and that is my niece! These are real people's lives! All these comments about hurting him are really unnecessary. Talking bad about her mother are too! Shes going to grow up someday and see these posts! Lets not exploit this anymore please! I have children (that have FOR SURE not been violated)(FOR SURE) They love their Pa and he has never and will never put them in danger. No I would not apologize to him because I never accused him or implied he did anything. Others did that. If he is innocent then the parents should apologize, I have no reason to. You HAVE implies this was a story made up by her parents.

I was molested as a child by a man that my parents thought they could trust. Don't tell me I don't know what's going on in her head! Same kinda situation only I never tried to molest a friend or relative myself.NOt saying she's bad for that. She didn't know. I was a tad older than she is.

No I was not. Nothing whatsoever was ever done about it. He walks around free today to molest other's at will!!!!!That hurts moreso(to me) than if they had televised it.

I was not believed by those that I told and never trusted another adult to tell after those had already left me to fend for myself. I had to deal with it on my own. Atleast this little girl has you and others to stand by her in this.Whether or not you believe Bruce did this, the little girl needs you right now. She needs the adults she has trusted and believed would protect her to be there for her!What you feel for her parents is immaterial at the moment, SHE is all that matters!

I believe in what the person on here put about judgement day...judgement day will come and no matter what the judges in court, the attorneys, the news people or anyone else says, God knows what happened, and he is the real Judge! I pray that the courts have mercy on this poor lil girl and that justice is served properly! I also pray that no matter what that God gives this man a chance to get to know him and live for him, even if it's from behind bars, everyone deserves a chance with God!

I agree.This little girl needs support and justice to be served.
