Linda Navarro is a victim of circumstance. As director of the South Hills Academy day care center in Hacienda Heights, the 44-year-old Whittier resident handled everything from marketing and purchasing to dealing with government agencies and attending community mixers to promote the school.

Ive worked with people who did not have college degrees- but knew the job inside out... far better than those that came on with college deg.
Hands on teaches you stuff that textbooks cant.
But in the end- they need to see that piece of paper.
