Question: Why does Al get so much press from the "colonial" media? Why is he promoted in the colony as the "black" leader? He's a negro, who embraces the white man's god, wears a process, and jumps on things that are obvious racial in nature, yet he doesn't address, or doesn't have the capacity to address, the fundamental issues that show european culture as different and dangerous for people of African descent. He keeps the focus on black people and "race" when it should be on white people and CULTURE.. That's his job and he does it well..

What fallout? A bunch of hoodlums hanging around the New York post? The rabid response to Eric Holder and his blatant racism, now that's causing fallout. The Chicago Stock Exchange is planning a modern day Boston Tea party over the Obama pay a vagrant's mortgage plan. Now that's fallout. This isn't fallout, this is Sharpton's Gideon Wall March, Part 2. "Gimme sum money, crackas!"

He keeps the focus on black people and "race" when it should be on white people and CULTURE.. That's his job and he does it well.. I could care less if the Father from "FAMILY GUY" was leading the March. The New York Post is a racist paper. NY-kers have been protesting this paper for years. They had a raffle last year for $50,000, a number of people won and guess what THEY PAID NO ONE. I heard spike Lee is to lead the rally today, I already know you have a negative opinion about him too. I hope they protest the hell out of that paper.

What's really going on? Ask yourself a simple question. What's Murdochs New York Post's cartoon really about? The function of a cartoon is to provide visual, not factual or even pertinent information. Question: What did this cartoon's visual say? It said cops were shooting a monkey. It allows the reader to fill in the blanks. What are the blanks? Twp words. Crime and stereotypes. Who are the criminals? African Americans. The Post, esp. has featured pro police and anti Black articles and editorials in the past. Who gets shot down in the streets? African Americans? A recent case in Oakland has a psycho cop killing an innocent African American. OK. Now ask: What is a standard and traditional stereotype of African Americans? I'll let the reader fill in that blank.. Remember, the idea is to impress visually. Words may or may not fit. You disagree? Then produce one single incidence of police shooting businessmen, politicians, military personnel, or other police personnel? Allowing that from time to time there are exceptions, I nevertheless, challenge the reader to produce a stereotype depicting any of the above as monkeys. Add an economic message, e.g., stimulus for failed right wing economic policies, and and you have a perfect example of a cartoon in which the idea transmitted via a visual conveys outright racism; after which, the racist visual gets linked to an unpopular government policy--or one the right wing wants to be seen as unpopular. Are you beginning to catch on? Out comes Rev. Al, and the underlying intent of the cartoon, which is to scapegoat African Americans for the collapse of U.S. capitalism falls into place. In a perfect world, African Americans, in one voice, would point to the corrupt and illegal dealings by the right wing (Starting with Keating): to rip off of $billions of tax dollars--monthly--in Iraq and Afghanistan, the absence of a meaningful investigation into the horrendous crime committed on 9-11, the $billions handed to Banks and auto companies,(whose CEO's receive multi millions in compensation--and the, not to be forgotten, actual arrest of corrupt GOP functionaries and lobbyist such as Abramhoff. In a perfect world. In one voice.

When Sharpton found out about the cartoon sheot, he woke up and said "Yes, finally another BS story to lead my people to cause a riot until those evil whote MOFO's give me money to control my people". Life must be good for Sharpton when he has a leash on his people. Sad part is, those fools skip work for these pointless protest, and then expect Obama to help them.

Al Sharpton is a disgrace. He and Jesse jackson have repeatedly drawn the masses into protests and claims of racism only to be embarrassed later. Remember Tawana Brawley? How about the Officer Ridley shooting from the Mount Vernon P.D.? Recently, he flew to Charlotte NC to protest the shooting of an "unarmed" black man by Police only to find out later that the man's girlfriend who was present at the time admitted to her boyfriend carrying a gun and even identified it at the scene. He is a joke and a disgrace to all black people.

Honestly. this is NOT the 60's. All that marching and trying to protest will not work anymore. I heard him on the radio telling New Yorkers not to buy the post anymore and to tell stores in their neighborhoods not to sell that paper. That method would work in the 60's or maybe in another state. But new yorkers are stubborn people and there is not much unity here. although we're angry, people pretty much go on about their business here. it will be forgotten about by tomorrow.

Protesting and marching does not get anything done anymore. Its not as effective as it was in the past. Al Sharpton really serves no real purpose for the black community. He hasn't progessed with time. He has no new real stategy. He should be doing what BlackInjun said. Then he will start to make some dents. He right now is doing nothing more than throwing pebbles at big trucks.
